About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the property portfolio. Your analytical skills will be key to supporting business decisions and driving success in a fast-paced and growth-focused environment. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Oversee monthly P&L reporting for properties in Australia and New Zealand.
Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights.
Prepare and reconcile BAS/GST returns accurately.
Conduct monthly general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support year-end tenant outgoings and audit preparations.
Provide data-driven insights for commercial tendering and decisions.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
Demonstrate leadership and uphold company values.
About you:
CA or CPA qualified or working towards.
1-2 years experience in a similar role as a Management Accountant.
You have worked in a retail or property-focused environment, in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
You demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail.
Experience working in an environment with multiple entities would be highly advantageous.
