Our client is a highly recognisable, ASX listed business who are currently experiencing a significant period of growth. Our client is looking to dedicate significant resources into building out a 'best-in-class' payroll function and hence are looking to bring in a strategic leader to champion process improvement and change management initiatives over the coming years.
Description
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll
Champion process improvement / change management initiatives
Ensure strong process documentation is in place to 'future-proof' the payroll function
Work effectively with senior stakeholders to ensure excellent cross-functional relationship between payroll, finance and HR teams
Process month and year-end, issue Income Statements, calculate and lodge Payroll Tax and Super, and calculate WorkCover
Ensure data quality is to a high standard and data is optimised to support client visibility and decision-making via reports and dashboards
Ensure compliance with all relevant requirements including legislative requirements
Provide an escalation point to the Payroll Team for complex pay queries
Coach and develop payroll team
Profile
We are seeking experienced payroll leaders who have a passion for process improvement and change management. Key competencies listed below:
