About the Role:


You will play a key role in our dynamic team, providing high-quality bookkeeping services to a variety of clients, from small startups to large established companies across multiple industries. This is a hands-on position that combines technical expertise with strong client relationship management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building trusted relationships and providing tailored bookkeeping solutions.
  • Bookkeeping Services: Manage end-to-end bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, BAS and GST reporting, and month-end processes.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare accurate financial reports and insights to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Software Expertise: Use cloud-based accounting tools such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks to streamline processes and ensure accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems for clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.


About You:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a client-facing role.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field (certification in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is highly desirable).
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple accounts with precision.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance professionals.
  • Proactive Approach: A problem-solver with the confidence to provide advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working with a wide range of clients from different industries and at different business stages.
