THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our digital uplift across the Wholesale division. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyse regulatory reforms, and develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements related to regulatory reforms within the Wholesale division.
• Conduct thorough analysis of regulatory changes and their potential impact on business processes, systems, and operations.
• Lead workshops and meetings to gather insights, validate requirements, and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, functional specifications, and process maps to support solution design and implementation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, compliance, and operations to ensure alignment of business and technical requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the Business Analysis community.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• MUST HAVE: Prior knowledge of the Energy industry in Australia is a prerequisite.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the energy or utilities industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects with a focus on regulatory compliance and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of wholesale energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
