Senior Financial Accountant

We here at TOM Executive Recruitment, have partnered with an Global Fintech business to recruit a Senior Financial Accounting role for a permanent position based in Melbourne.

• Location: Melbourne CBD
• Salary: $115 - 120K + super
• Remote working for up to 6 weeks of the year.

Overview:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in efficient management of the companies data and key accounts. You will have an opportunity to make a true impact in this role and grow with your ideas and hand-on approach for reporting and decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support strong performance and outcomes of finance processes run by the offshore team
• Month end processing, balance sheet reconciliations,
• Preparing quarterly, half year and annual statutory accounts.
• Develop and maintain internal financial controls.

Required Skills:

• CA / CPA with 6 + years experience post qualification (Big 4 experience preferred)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS
• Experience data visualization tools, SQL etc very advantageous
