Did you know that Australians purchase more clothing than any other country in the world? 🚨 The 10th Edition of the Ethical Fashion Report by Baptist World Aid Report has highlighted several key findings: 👕 The average Australian purchases 56 clothing items per year. 🗑️ Over 200,000 tonnes of clothing end up in a landfill. ♻️ 70% of Australians want to switch to more sustainable methods of sourcing clothing. 💰 89% of producers aren’t paying a living wage at any stage in their supply chain. The report highlights that there is still a lot of work to be done and many of these crucial topics will be covered at the 2025 Global Sourcing Seminars.
