Kaiyuan Temple is the first attraction for many visitors to Quanzhou. It is the most important cultural relic in southeast China and the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian. It is a 4A-level scenic area and is included in the World Heritage List. Kaiyuan Temple is located in Quanzhou Ancient City, surrounded by other attractions such as the Bell Tower and West Street.
