Singapore | For fresh air, Fort Canning Park is a must-visit

Right next to the National Museum, you can find the entrance to 'Fort Canning Park,' known as the 'green lung of Singapore'. 🌳 I really like the flowers and trees here, especially how they complement the architecture of the National Museum. 🛗 Shortly after entering, there's an escalator that takes you up to the park. This was once the residence of Sir Stamford Raffles and the royal seat of the Sultanate in the 14th century. 🏞 There are many attractions within the park, including the popular 'tree hole' spiral staircase known as the Dragon's Den; Maritime Corner, which marks Singapore's evolution from a transshipment port to an international maritime center; the 19th-century Fort Gate; the Gothic Gates; the Spice Garden; the ASEAN Sculpture Garden; Sang Nila Utama Garden; Jubilee Park; and the Battle Box, which was a military base hidden underground during World War II. 🌠 The surrounding flora is meticulously designed, making every spot comfortable to walk through. Hotel Fort Canning is also located here, and the large lawn in front of it is really comfortable, making for great photos! ▶️Tips: 1. It is recommended to visit the National Museum and then take a stroll in the park, which is only 300m away. Otherwise, visiting the park alone might be quite tiring. 2. Next to the park entrance by the National Museum, there's a café called ONALU, where the salmon burger is delicious and substantial for $13.5 each. 3. The park is quite large, so if you only want to visit the popular tree hole for photos, take the subway to Dhoby Ghaut Station, exit at Exit B, and follow the signs to Fort Canning. Navigate to Fort Canning tunnel, which is behind Hotel Fort Canning. You'll see a small tunnel, go through it, and you'll arrive.
