Floor area: 93,000 m2 Year: 2022 Architect: Bjarke Ingels Group, Carlo Ratti Associati The project is a 280-meter-high high-rise oasis, continuing the city's pioneering vertical urbanization, with a variety of restaurants, office spaces, Citadines serviced apartments and sky gardens from the ground to the 51st floor The building is located in the heart of Singapore's financial district, and the former public parking lot and hawker center are formed by orthogonal lines, lush green plants and contrasting texture dynamics One On multiple facades, the vertical elements that make up the exterior of the building are pulled apart to glimpse the oasis blooming from the base, core and roof "sky garden". The tower consolidates Singapore's reputation as a garden city, with more than 80,000 plants and a green area of more than 1:1.4, which means that the total landscape area exceeds 8,300 square meters (90,000 square feet), equivalent to 140% of its site area. At the street level, CapitaSpring restores part of the historic Market Street to the public domain through pedestrian-only areas and expanded landscape areas, creating new green breathing spaces for neighboring tenants and passers-by in the high-density CBD The winding garden path creates a natural entrance to the city hall. The city hall is a spacious open space 18 meters high under the tower, which can block tropical sunlight and showers, welcome tenants to enter the office and residential independent lobby, and shoppers and diners enter the food center in the tower skirt building. The iconic Market Street Hawker Center is rebuilt on the second and third floors of the building, with 56 food stalls, consolidating its position as the core of the city's food experience and the role it plays in maintaining local culture and community The first eight floors of the tower are dedicated to serviced apartments, including various facilities such as swimming pools, hot tubs, jogging tracks, gyms, social kitchens, guest lounges and barbecues. The top 29 floors offer premium office space with panoramic views of the Singapore River and Marina Bay , The architectural core between the office and residential hardscapes is four connected organic softscapes, known as the "Green Oasis", a 35-meter open-air garden for work, leisurely walks, and exercise. The oasis will seamlessly weave nature vertically into the building, meeting local space constraints while providing ample green space for tenants and residents, integrating the elegance and fluidity of modern architecture with the ubiquitous tropical natural environment in the region The overall vertical softscape of the oasis mimics the plant hierarchy of the tropical rainforest; the growth of the layered leaves of the plant is directly proportional to the light availability in the vegetation layer. Shade-tolerant plants with large leaves that require the least direct light are found on the "rainforest floor".
