London city walk.
London, I want to simply talk about my thoughts and suggestions! Because it is the New Year period, most of them are traveling with children, so the main thing is to let the children know about the UK and London. Then make a plan according to the number of days of travel! This is the most important thing, you have a purpose! Because we are tourists for just over a week, so what do you want to play and how to play? Some places are optional.
Generally speaking, London is basically at least 2-3 days. So how to walk is more effective, don't go back. Divide London into 2 routes of City of Westminster and City of London!
Don't watch two museums a day, because if you want to listen to professional explanations, it's best to have a museum a day, and a city walk in the morning or afternoon. The best public transportation in London is convenient and fast, saving time. Generally, the first time visitors to the UK, they have to walk around the City of Westminster first. If you want to watch the changing of the guard, you have to walk in the city in the morning (the changing of the guard ceremony is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in February) The time is at 11 o'clock, it is recommended to arrive near Buckingham Palace around 10:45) If you want to see clearly, it is recommended to wait at the barracks on the side of Birdcage Walk, the Royal Guard will start from here, and there are not many people here!
If you don't want to watch the changing of the guard, then come to Buckingham Palace in the afternoon, go to the British Museum or other museums in the morning, so that there will be relatively fewer people during peak hours. Generally, you will come out of Westminster subway station by subway. I suggest you come out of St James’s Park station. You can start from Westminster Abbey, then Parliament Square, Big Ben-You can go to Westminster Bridge and see the London Eye (⚠️ Bridge thief) Take a photo of the Houses of Parliament)-Walk Whitehall (Prime Minister's Office, Foreign Office, Treasury, Ministry of Defense)-Royal Cavalry Camp-Trafalgar Square-Themall-Buckingham Palace-St Jame Park You can rest and eat in the surrounding hotels at noon. In the afternoon, you can choose a museum. The National Gallery is next to Trafalgar Square.
On the second day, you can visit the British Museum in the morning, and you can walk from Fleet Street to St Paul's Cathedral in the afternoon-Millennium Bridge-Then walk along the river, finally reaching Tower Bridge, London Tower! It is recommended to go to Tower Bridge in the afternoon. If there is sunshine, the afternoon photo looks better without backlight! After arriving at Tower Bridge, you can take a Thames cruise and return to the London Eye.
On the third day, if you like maritime affairs, you can go to Greenwich Observatory-Navy Museum-Old Naval Academy-Finally, you can take a cruise or light rail train back to the city center. If you like museums, you can go to the Natural History Museum or the VA Museum.
Basically, London city walk basically has to be more than 15,000 steps a day

London Travel Recommendation: The Royal Charm of Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British royal family and one of London's most iconic attractions, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year. This palace is not only the home of the British monarch but also a symbol of history and culture. Here, I will introduce the charm of Buckingham Palace and why it is a must-visit destination in London.
Magnificent Architecture
Built in 1703, Buckingham Palace was initially a nobleman's house before gradually becoming the official residence of the royal family. The palace's exterior is grand and classical, with a majestic main gate and elegant walls that immediately evoke a strong royal atmosphere. The intricate details and luxurious decorations of the architecture showcase the unique style of British royal buildings, leaving visitors in awe.
Changing of the Guard
A visit to Buckingham Palace would not be complete without witnessing the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. This ceremony usually takes place at 11:00 AM daily, featuring guards in traditional red uniforms and tall hats marching in formation. The spectacle is both grand and solemn, lasting about 30 minutes and attracting numerous onlookers. It is advisable to check the specific timing of the ceremony in advance, as it may be adjusted due to weather or other reasons.
Palace Interior Tour
Parts of Buckingham Palace are open to the public during the summer, allowing visitors to tour the palace's interior and admire its luxurious decorations and historical artifacts. The rooms display famous artworks, royal family collections, and splendid interior designs, offering a deep insight into the history and life of the British royal family. During the tour, visitors can also see the royal private gardens, a tranquil oasis that contrasts sharply with the palace's grandeur.
Nearby Attractions
There are many other attractions worth visiting around Buckingham Palace, such as St. James's Park and Westminster Abbey. St. James's Park is one of London's oldest royal parks, featuring beautiful lakes, gardens, and various wildlife, making it perfect for walks and picnics. Westminster Abbey, where British monarchs have been crowned for centuries, is another must-see landmark with its magnificent Gothic architecture.
Conclusion
Buckingham Palace is not just a tourist attraction but a place to experience British royal culture and history. Whether it's admiring the palace's magnificent architecture, watching the Changing of the Guard ceremony, or touring the historical artifacts inside, Buckingham Palace will give you a deeper appreciation of London's charm. If you plan to visit London, Buckingham Palace is definitely an essential part of your itinerary!

London Trip: Visit to Buckingham Palace
When I visited Buckingham Palace, I was amazed by its grand exterior and intricate architecture. In the square in front of the palace, the Changing of the Guard ceremony was taking place, and the elaborate performance conveyed a deep sense of tradition and history. The interior of the palace was filled with golden decorations and luxurious furniture, with each room showcasing the long history of the British royal family. The royal collection's artworks were particularly captivating, and taking a moment to relax in the beautiful gardens allowed me to once again feel the majesty of the palace.

Visiting Buckingham Palace was an unforgettable experience! 🏰 Located in the heart of London, this iconic royal residence is even more magnificent in person than it appears in pictures. The entrance fee for the State Rooms was £30, but it's worth every penny to see the opulence and grandeur inside. Walking through rooms like the Throne Room and the White Drawing Room, I was in awe of the intricate details, from the lavish chandeliers to the priceless artworks on the walls. 🎨👑
One of the highlights was witnessing the Changing of the Guard ceremony. It's a must-see! Arrive early to get a good spot because it can get pretty crowded. The sight of the guards in their traditional red tunics and bearskin hats marching to the sound of military music was thrilling. 🎶🫡 After the palace tour, I strolled through the nearby St. James's Park, enjoying its lush greenery and serene lake, perfect for a picnic or just relaxing. 🌳🦆
Don’t miss visiting the Royal Mews, where you can see the exquisite royal carriages, or the Queen’s Gallery, which houses a stunning collection of art from the Royal Collection. 📸 Buckingham Palace isn't just a tourist attraction—it's a glimpse into the British monarchy's history and traditions. This visit is definitely a highlight of my London trip! #trip #BuckinghamPalace #RoyalLondon #ChangingOfTheGuard #LondonSights #BritishMonarchy

London day trip. First stop: Buckingham Palace 🏰
#buckinghampalace
This summer, I finally got to visit Buckingham Palace in London, and it was everything I imagined and more. Located in the heart of the city, just walking up to the palace felt like stepping into a piece of living history. The grandeur of the building, with its impressive façade and iconic gates, is something you have to see in person to truly appreciate. The best part? For just £30 (about $38), I got a ticket to tour the State Rooms, and it was worth every penny.
Inside, the State Rooms are nothing short of breathtaking. The opulence is overwhelming, with each room more ornate than the last. The highlight for me was the Throne Room, where you can almost feel the weight of the centuries of tradition. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, offering insights into the history and significance of the palace and its residents.
If you time your visit right, you can also catch the Changing of the Guard, which happens daily in the summer at 11:00 AM. It’s a quintessentially British experience, with all the pomp and ceremony you’d expect. After the tour, I spent some time exploring the beautiful Buckingham Palace Gardens, which are included in the entrance fee. The gardens are a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city, with perfectly manicured lawns and a picturesque lake.
Nearby, I also visited the Victoria Memorial, just outside the palace gates, and took a leisurely walk through St. James's Park. Both are perfect for rounding out a day steeped in royal history. Visiting Buckingham Palace was a highlight of my trip to London—a must-do for anyone interested in British culture and history! 👑🇬🇧 #trip #BuckinghamPalace #London #RoyalTour #ChangingoftheGuard #LondonHistory

The king's palace 👑
Buckingham Palace is truly one of the most popular tourist destinations in London, and obviously for a very good reason. It's the official residence of the British monarchy (the queen), and it's absolutely massive and beautify built. I was really impressed with how well-kept everything was and how organized everything is. The gardens are so beautiful, and there's so much history inside and outside the palace. The Changing of the Guard ceremony was so beautiful and thousands of people were outside watching the ceremony. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in London, it's a must see.#2023travelwish#tripblazers#mytripvlog#foodie#urbanexplorer

To get the best views of Tower Bridge, get back on the metro to London Bridge Station or Tower Hill. Walk down the river a bit and find your spot!

We only spend a couple of days in London, but the weather was really great these days so we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to check out Buckingham Palace Park. The area is very quite because there are not a lot of cars allowed to drive in this area. The Palace itself is very big and beautiful. The flowers in front of the Palace give you a great set for taking a picture. Furthermore, there are a lot of activities that you can do in the park for example you can ride the bicycle or you can go kayaking on the lakes inside the park. Last bit not least the gate between the parks are very beautiful #tripblazers

Buckingham Palace is recognised around the world as the home of the monarch, the focus of national and royal celebrations, as well as the backdrop to the regular Changing the Guard ceremony.
When we visited, it was the official residence of the late Queen. Now is the place where King Charles III could be seen.
Explore the magnificent State Rooms which are open to visitors for 10 weeks each summer and on selected dates for guided tours during winter and spring.
Tickets are reasonably priced and you can get a yearly ticket so you can visit multiple times. Photos are not allowed inside.

Reminiscing London 🇬🇧
I finally have the time to share my recent visit to Buckingham Palace, just weeks before the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The palace was extremely huge, imposing, and grand. The most stunning thing that stood out to me was the detail in the architecture.
Quick facts: The very first monarch to call it home was Queen Victoria back in the 1830s. That's nearly 200 years of royal history etched into the walls and statues. My guide was also quick to share that there are 775 rooms (of which more than 70 are bathrooms)! That's gigantic. As one walks through the spaces, you can feel the beauty and grandeur of buildings and gardens. Does the gate look familiar? You might have seen it in the news! The birth of royal children are announced by placing an easel with written information on it, and it's tied around the middle of the gate.
Quick tip: If you want to visit the palace, go in August or September (summer) when the monarch is usually not there. I recommend getting a e-guide and dedicating half a day to exploring the expansive area. Don't forget to take tons of pictures, and witness the changing of the guards. Art lovers, relish every single piece in the Royal Collection of Artworks!

Getting There - Take the underground! Victoria, Green Park stations are nearby. Buses 11 and 211 go there as well.
Attractions - Stunning royal palace and gardens with history and art

Buckingham Palace
Address: Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA, United Kingdom.
Getting there: It is located around 8 minutes walk away from the St. James Park tube station.
Highlights: Buckingham Palace is truly one of the most popular tourist destinations in London, and obviously for a very good reason. It's the official residence of the British monarchy and it's absolutely massive and beautify built.
I was really impressed with how well-kept everything was and how organized everything is. The Changing of the Guard ceremony was so beautiful and thousands of people were outside watching the ceremony. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in London. 😬
There is also a souveniers shop beside where you can shop for all the Queen’s merchandise!😊

While the whole world mourned the death of Queen Elizabeth 😔😔😔, the royal family arranged a grand see off to the Queen, who Departed to the world hereafter, following legacy of compassion, grandeur and service towards the Royalty 👑.
The beautiful royal parade and band display truly inspired and enthralled the audience from all over the world. The usually hustle bustle of London was magnified and the activities of Buckingham Palace fast paced and entertaining. The event almost replicated the olden era mourning and coronation ceremonies as are displayed in movies.
A superb experience for all the audience and visitors, with the traditional band resonating melodious beats, sending chills in body and brain.

The amazing Buckingham Palace in London

Buckingham Palace is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom. On the outside, it doesn’t look that spectacular but certainly it’s worth a visit.
The Palace is located in the City of Westminster (close to Victoria Station), and is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality.
If you time it well, you can even see the change of the guard at Buckingham Palace and add something special to your day. We were hoping on a few occasions to see the Queen but unfortunately this didn’t happen haha ( 😉 ).
The magnificent State Rooms are open to visitors for 10 weeks each summer. You can now get your ticket for a visit between 22 July and 2 October 2022.

Buckingham Palace London
My London trip will not be complete without visiting the top and number place must see in London, Buckingham Palace.
Buckingham Palace is where the United Kingdom monarchy or the king and the queen live and is also the headquarters of the monarch administrative for the United Kingdom.
This palace is located in the city of Westminster, and the palace is the place for the monarchy to host celebrations, such as the state event and royal celebrations, such as Platinum Jubilee.
One activity that attracts most tourists while visiting London is the ceremony of changing the guard.
This palace is open for visitors and closed on a specific month date. Unfortunately, the Palace was closed during my visit. Nevertheless, I am still happily able to see the palace in real, where Princess Diana and Price Charles was getting married.
