THEO ROGERS
You have to run a kilometer before having breakfast! The breakfast at Dunhuang International Hotel is pretty good
Dunhuang International Hotel, which is also the state guesthouse of Dunhuang, was rumored in 23 to change its brand to Pullman Hotel under Accor, but the project seems to be on hold for now. The hotel covers a vast area of 1200 mu. This time I stayed in Building 3, and it's more than a kilometer away to Building 2 for breakfast, fortunately, there's a shuttle bus service.
The all-day dining restaurant has a high ceiling and a large space, and probably offers the best food among all the hotels in Dunhuang. There are at least four chefs in tall hats making Lanzhou beef noodles on the spot, serving the food quickly. The chili oil is fragrant, the soup is fresh, and the noodles are springy; I had two bowls.
There's a rich variety of hot dishes, about eight kinds, among which the scrambled eggs with tomatoes are so delicious that they are not inferior to the ones I make myself, so I got myself a big plate of them.
There are also eight kinds of Chinese cold dishes, including tripe and shredded pig's ear, which are both solid and tasty.
This is the best part, and the other sections like fruit, salad, bakery, and Chinese steamed dim sum also meet the standards of a five-star hotel, which is really rare in a place like Dunhuang.
