The photos I took in HK are like scenes from a movie.
Hong Kong 🇭🇰 is a place where skyscrapers, Victoria Harbour, and a combination of retro and modern styles can be found. The only downside is the high cost of living 😭
🥳 Even if you only have one day, you can still go on a city walk 🚶
📷 "My City Walk Route"
Victoria Harbour - Avenue of Stars - Star Ferry - Victoria Peak - Sai Ying Pun - Kennedy Town - Mong Kok
⚠️ "Some Tips"
✅ Get your Hong Kong and Macau Pass in advance, so you can get a visa whenever you want
✅ Prepare a British standard plug converter and set up your roaming data
⭐️ Recommended attractions:
💕 Victoria Harbour - Avenue of Stars
Spend half a day at Victoria Harbour in the morning. The harbor view and city skyline are iconic landmarks. Harbour City is also here, so shopaholics can shop till they drop.
💕 Star Ferry
You can take the Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui Pier to Central. The view of Victoria Harbour from the ferry is unique.
💕 Victoria Peak
You don't need to go to the observation deck. Walk along Lugard Road and you can overlook the entire Victoria Harbour. It's breathtaking.
💕 Sheung Wan - Sai Ying Pun
This place really has a combination of retro and modern styles. From Sai Ying Pun to Kennedy Town, it's very photogenic.
💕 Mong Kok
There are many old residential areas here, full of local life. Especially at night, the neon lights and pedestrians are like a scene from a Wong Kar-wai movie.
If you're flying ✈️ to and from Hong Kong, you can shop at the last stop. The Shilla Duty Free at Hong Kong International Airport has a wide range of products 🛍️

The 18 photos of Hong Kong Citywalk fulfill all fantasies about Hong Kong
Ever since watching Hong Kong movies as a child, I have had unique memories of this city. Being here feels like watching a real-life Hong Kong movie. I started my Citywalk 🚶 without stopping and found that I walked 30,000 steps in one day. Looking back at the photos I took, I feel satisfied with all my memories and fantasies of Hong Kong.
1️⃣📍Kennedy Town Basketball Court
Exit C of the Kennedy Town MTR station, where the boats entering and leaving the harbor and the passing trams complement each other perfectly. It's so Hong Kong, and shooting with a telephoto lens gives a more compressed feeling.
2️⃣-3️⃣📍Monster Building
The filming location for Transformers, a place that has been popular for many years, has a very strong sense of oppression. Remember to take photos civilly without disturbing the residents.
4️⃣📍The seaside on the east side of Kennedy Town
You can take a bus there, where the sea breeze and waves hit your face. It's best to bring insect repellent spray, and be careful on the moss-covered path.
5️⃣📍Sai Ying Pun
An old district of Hong Kong, with buildings built along the mountain, and corridors connecting each building. Classic taxis shuttle through them.
6️⃣-7️⃣📍Arsenal Street Footbridge
On the footbridge where Hennessy Road and Arsenal Street intersect, you can capture the classic taxi and tram & church photo spot.
8️⃣📍Queen's Road Central
'The crowds surge on Queen's Road Central' - this lyric perfectly describes the bustling scene of this busy street.
9️⃣📍Bank Street
A classic spot to take photos with the tram. Long exposure can capture the feeling of the traffic flow.
🔟📍North Point Market
The market in North Point is bustling with people, with trams weaving through. It feels like you've entered the life of the locals.
1️⃣1️⃣📍Lugard Road
A viewing platform with fewer people than The Peak, and it's free$. It's the best place to watch a sunrise.
1️⃣2️⃣📍Mount Butler
One of the top three viewing platforms in Hong Kong, in my opinion. There are many mosquitoes on the way up the mountain, but it all feels worth it when you sit on the mountain watching the sunset.
1️⃣3️⃣📍Rainbow Village
The subway station is rainbow-colored, and playing basketball in the courts among the rainbow-colored buildings feels like going back to the student days.
1️⃣4️⃣📍Lai King Garden Aerial Photography
A neighborhood I accidentally discovered on the map on the way to Kowloon Bay, with clean and orderly buildings that have a strong visual impact.
1️⃣5️⃣📍West Kowloon Cultural District Waterfront Park
A park where locals go for a walk after meals. Opposite is the Central area, not many people and the night view is super great.
1️⃣6️⃣📍'Golden Multitude'
Neon signs south of Mong Kok station, just navigate directly. The taxis passing under the neon lights feel like watching a real-life Hong Kong movie.
1️⃣7️⃣-1️⃣8️⃣📍Mong Kok Footbridge
As one of the busiest areas in Hong Kong, the streets are bustling with people under the classic neon signs at night. On the footbridge in Mong Kok, you can capture many lively streets.

I will be staying in the Greater Bay Area for a while, continuing to update photo spots and travel routes in Hong Kong, helping everyone to enjoy Hong Kong better

Hong Kong One Day City Walk - A 20,000-step journey with a guide
Prepare in advance:
1. Get an Octopus card (applicable for all transportation and most shopping, very convenient!) But it's not mandatory, you can use the wx ride code to travel everywhere.
2. Exchange for Hong Kong dollars according to personal spending (many small shops really only accept HKD, if you plan to visit Lung Shing Dispensary, HKD is a must)
I usually exchange at the border, and if there's any leftover, I can exchange it back.
3. Hong Kong and Macau pass.
4. Power bank
5. Google Maps
6. Hong Kong one-day data SIM card (easily purchased online, very cheap and I find it quite useful, there's basically always signal)
One day check-in
Recommended sightseeing route:
Cross the border at Shenzhen Futian Port (or directly take the 🚄 to West Kowloon) ➡️ Mong Kok ➡️ Yau Ma Tei ➡️ Tsim Sha Tsui ➡️ Avenue of Stars ➡️ Central ➡️ Kennedy Town
One day check-in itinerary:
From Lok Ma Chau Station 🚇 take the East Rail Line towards Admiralty to Kowloon Tong Station, transfer to the Kwun Tong Line towards Whampoa to Mong Kok Station, Exit B2 to see the popular check-in spot, the footbridge ➡️ After taking photos, walk to Yau Ma Tei Hong Kong Police Station ➡️ After shooting Yau Ma Tei Police Station, walk to Yau Ma Tei Station (B2), take the Tsuen Wan Line towards Central to Tsim Sha Tsui Station (E), locate near the Clock Tower, Harbour City and Avenue of Stars are nearby for a stroll and photos, Harbour City popular coffee shop (Harbour City Mall 3rd floor, Shop 309) ➡️ After shooting, walk to Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier, take the 5 HKD Star Ferry for 5 minutes to Central Pier (turn left at Pier 9/10 🉑 to take a full view of the Ferris wheel), enjoy the famous ice cream, and the popular clock is nearby, then you can walk to fineprint to take photos of the graffiti wall, etc. Additionally, the Bank of China Tower trio, Central Station Exit J2 (navigate to Bank of China Tower, walk and see a staircase on the right, and a subway passage on the left) is recommended for night photography ➡️ From Central Station, take the Island Line towards Kennedy Town to reach Kennedy Town, Exit C, walk to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park
Some small suggestions:
1. Most places in Hong Kong do not have seating, be prepared for a lot of walking and wear the most comfortable shoes 👟
2. For those who want to take photos and check in, please note ⚠️ most popular photo spots are crowded, it's recommended to find your own angles to avoid the crowd, otherwise, it's really a waste of time

The Steakhaus with Style
This small restaurant is stylishly decorated, which is truly special☺️. They are meticulous and maintain high standards in food preparation, making it a restaurant that is managed with care🍴
Their specialty is a variety of steaks🥩, and we ordered a large one to share. The Angus Prime ribeye with bone 15oz served with salad was tender, juicy, and rich in flavor. Eating it with the salad was really appetizing. We also had the cheese lobster🦞, which was topped with plenty of cheese and the lobster was fresh and crisp.
For starters, we chose the Sriracha chicken wings and crab cakes, which are not to be missed. The wings were fried to a crispy perfection, and with the Sriracha sauce, they were spicy and tantalizing😋. The crab cakes were filled with crab meat, delicious in taste, and paired with a crispy exterior, creating a great texture.
For drinks, we had a cocktail - Amaro Santoni Roxxane, which was refreshingly aromatic.

HongKong food trip around MongKok
This was a half day itinerary before we went to catch our plane ride home. Started the day with porridge. I chose fish and salted egg but there were bones in it so do be careful when eating. The salted egg elevated the tasted and I loved it! Then it was time to grab souvenirs and soak up the last bit of HongKong vibes. I had Mannny's egglets. Chose the earl grey flavour one and i like it very much. It was warm, fragrant and has a new chewy texture. In short walking distance was Coconut King so I ordered one to try. Was really popular in the past but I havent had it before in my previous trip. Worth the try but im not a coconut fan so i'll stick to ComeBuyTea bubbletea!! #hongkong #citywalk #porridge #egglets #coconutdrink

Newly opened Thai massage shop next to Mongkok MTR station
I've been sore all over lately, so I came to Xinkai Tairan to relax! Once inside, it's like walking into Thailand as a spa, Thai decoration has a good feel, wooden decoration, the place is spacious and comfortable, light Thai fragrant oil flavor 😌 There is also a pantry can drink coffee and snacks super great 😋
。
There are double rooms that can be pressed together 😌 The room is clean, the whole body is loose after pressing, the price is quite cheap at the newly opened, it is very convenient next to Mong Kok Station 👍🏻

One-day trip to Hong Kong, come and enjoy the breeze of Victoria Harbor!
⛱️Must-see attractions: Victoria Harbor, Mong Kok subway station, Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, Central Ferris Wheel, Causeway Bay department stores
🌄Travel tips: Futian Port - Mong Kok - Yau Ma Tei - Tsim Sha Tsui - Victoria Harbor - Central Pier - Causeway Bay
🏨Accommodation tips: Remember to book a hotel in advance! Accommodation in Hong Kong is generally expensive, and you may have a bad experience if you don't book in advance! You may even be overcharged (or you can consider staying in Zhuhai or a day trip without accommodation for better value)
💰Cash/bank card: Most places now accept Alipay/WeChat Pay, but some only accept HKD, so it's recommended to bring some cash for exchange
☎️SIM card: You can buy one online in advance, or you can activate international roaming/subscribe to a roaming package in advance
💗Other tips: Taxis are relatively expensive, so you can plan your route in advance and take a bus, which is very convenient, or you can take the subway

Exploring Hong Kong: little journey
Hong Kong left me in awe with its seamless blend of tradition and modernity. From the soaring skyscrapers of Central to the vibrant street markets of Mong Kok, every corner of the city buzzes with life. Riding the iconic double-decker trams, affectionately known as “ding dings,” was a highlight of my visit. These charming trams, with their vintage design and slow pace, felt like stepping back in time while passing through the city’s vibrant streets. The views from the upper deck were perfect for soaking in Hong Kong’s energy. It’s a place that never stops, yet still finds moments of charm and nostalgia. An unforgettable destination!

I've been to Chong Sau in the past, but I happened to be walking through Mong Kok today and found that there is also a Chong Sau Private Dessert. I haven't been there for a long time and I'll try it
The shop is quite bright, the decor is as usual with light wood color with green, the number of tables is not small, and there are quite a lot of people, I probably went at 6pm was already full
🔸Red Date Lotus Seed Stewed Peach Jelly $39
The weather is cooler, so I chose this one with hot food. After drinking it, I feel very moist and full of ingredients. There are many red dates, lotus seeds and peach jelly, and it is cooked very soft enough, and the sweetness is not sweet😊
🔸Durian Crystal Beads $48
As soon as I walked in, I could smell the aroma of durian. Basically, I eat this one every time I come here. There are large pieces of fresh durian flesh on top, plus durian ice made from durian, good Crispy crystal beads, this one is perfect for those who like durian
🔸Mini Mango Pudding $18
Seeing that there was food at the next table, I ordered it 😂 The small cup of pudding is just right for me to satisfy my craving. It has a light mango flavor and a soft and smooth pudding texture

Take a walk on the streets of Mong Kok.
Hong Kong is a diverse city, with the skyscrapers of Central, the Mid-Levels Escalator that has appeared in many Hong Kong movies, the Golden Bauhinia Square, Victoria Peak, Victoria Harbor... and of course, the bustling streets of Mong Kok.
Mong Kok is a famous name, and many Hong Kong movies have used it as a backdrop. There are many intersections, narrow roads, and stalls lined up one after another, creating a strong sense of everyday life.
I spent an entire afternoon, from 1 pm to 6 pm, exploring almost all the alleys in Mong Kok. My phone showed over 20,000 steps. I visited Goldfish Street, Sneaker Street, Ladies' Market, small vegetable markets, fruit stalls... I went to the popular "Fei Jie Snacks" for skewers, had afternoon tea at a bing sutt, and in the evening, I found a small restaurant with "Old Beijing" on the sign and had shepherd's purse dumplings. It was the most comforting northern meal I had during my trip to Hong Kong.
People on the street passed by me. The relaxed ones were tourists, while the hurried ones were mostly locals.
Hong Kong people are hardworking and capable. Most of the cleaners are elderly. After cleaning, they put their tools in a small house on the street corner, carefully locked it, folded and stored their small carts, tied the ropes to secure them, took out their Octopus cards, and hurried into the subway station... The pharmacy owner also closed up shop. He slowly lowered the shutter door and locked it, then slowly used a key to open a sign next to the pharmacy, revealing a small private bathroom. Passersby would never notice this hidden room. It was indeed private.
Most taxi drivers are elderly. Don't try to chat with them, as most don't speak Mandarin. Just show them where you want to go, and they'll take you there accurately. Taxis only accept cash, and there's an extra charge for luggage, HKD 6 per piece.
Hong Kong's roads, whether wide or narrow, are rarely congested because most are one-way streets, and traffic is well-managed.
Take a walk on the streets of Mong Kok, observe the diversity of life, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. It's a great experience. Mong Kok

Hong Kong: A City Where East Meets West

Visitors can explore iconic landmarks like Victoria Peak, take a ferry ride to the bustling Central district, or enjoy the vibrant nightlife. Known for its incredible shopping, street food, and cultural experiences, Hong Kong is also a hub for art and innovation. While it’s one of the most expensive cities, its diverse attractions make it a must-visit destination for travelers worldwide.

"881" Mongkok store: Affordable pork buns with soy sauce, average consumption per person $25
There is a shop opposite Langham Place, "881", which mainly sells sauce meat buns. It never sells overnight buns. Go try it now. There is a glass window in the shop that shows the shopkeeper's freshly made buns. The price is very affordable. I didn't expect to eat it in Mong Kok To such a cheap big bun, you can also choose the set, can be served with soy milk / millet porridge 😋

30 years later, we can still greet Wong Kar-wai's films
"Blossoms" was a hit earlier, and it evokes nostalgia not only for Shanghai in the 1990s but also for the golden age of Hong Kong cinema 🎞️, where Wong Kar-wai's films hold a prominent place.
More than 30 years have passed, which scene 🎬 from Wong Kar-wai's films do you remember the most? Is it the phone booth ☎️ where Andy Lau and Maggie Cheung kiss in "As Tears Go By"? Is it the snack bar in "Days of Being Wild" where that unforgettable minute happens? Or is it the fast-food restaurant in "Chungking Express" that makes your heart flutter 🦋 whenever you hear California Dreamin'?
Previously, we searched for Hong Kong dramas for you, but this time, let's do a special movie check-in ✅ to reminisce about Hong Kong's most beautiful times.
💃 "As Tears Go By"
Maggie Cheung waits for Andy Lau outside the stairs of Mui Wo Pier late at night, then they passionately kiss in the phone booth. With the reconstruction of Mui Wo Pier, it might disappear forever. Fortunately, back in Mong Kok, the Yau Ma Tei Fruit Market 🍉 where Andy Lau reunites with his ex-girlfriend still retains the feel of thirty years ago.
🚬 "Days of Being Wild"
The snack bar where Maggie Cheung worked at the South China Athletic Association is no longer there. Luckily, in the bustling Central district, the place where Maggie Cheung looked at the clock ⏰ and told herself to forget that person from that minute still exists. If you're lucky, you might still see the large clock hanging high up.
In the hidden corners of Mid-Levels, the place where Andy Lau waited for Maggie Cheung's call every night still exists. When you see the old stone 🪨 wall from Conduit Road, you can't help but feel a sense of inexplicable emotion.
🌳 "Chungking Express"
Unfortunately, the "Midnight Express" has long since turned into a convenience store. However, you can still listen 👂🏻 to California Dreamin' and wander near the Central-Mid-Levels escalator, try the dai pai dong dishes that Tony Leung ate, and feel the taste of old Hong Kong at the Graham Street Market.
Of course, don't forget to take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui, walk into Chungking Mansions 🏢 and the adjacent Mirador Mansion. Although 30 years have passed, the charm of the movie still remains.
🪽 "Fallen Angels"
Also in Tsim Sha Tsui, the McDonald's 🍔 where Leon Lai and Karen Mok met was originally on Hankow Road. If you like this movie, the Yau Ma Tei where Leon Lai lived has been demolished and rebuilt, and you can only search for his shadow on the platform.
👗 "In the Mood for Love"
The most mesmerizing scene in "In the Mood for Love" is when Su Li-zhen (Maggie Cheung) receives a call from Chow Mo-wan (Tony Leung) and goes to the hotel 🏨 to find him, wearing high heels and walking up and down the stairs. This classic scene's location was rebuilt more than ten years ago, becoming a more fashionable staircase 🪜. Few people pass by here, so you might as well reminisce about the delicate emotions in the movie in the dark corners of the stairs.
As the filming locations gradually disappear 🫥 in the city's development, when we no longer have them, the only thing we can do is not to forget.

🚇 Transportation: Get off at Mong Kok East on the MTR East Rail Line, then walk for about eight minutes.
⏳ Playtime: 2-3 hours
🌟
If I could only visit one place in Hong Kong, I would definitely choose Mong Kok. This is the most representative area of Hong Kong and a place where you can never get enough of walking around. Here you will find a dazzling array of goods, densely packed street shops, red minibuses 🚌 shuttling around, hanging neon signs, and hurried pedestrians. It can be said to be the place with the largest flow of people in Hong Kong. Places like Langham Place, Argyle Street, Sai Yeung Choi Street South, Tung Choi Street (Ladies' Market), and Mong Kok Centre are all great for shopping and taking photos 📸. Summer is a great time to come here to cool off!
🌟
Travel Tips
✅ You can get a metro card or bus card on Alipay - Travel, and scan the QR code to pass through the gate when taking public transport.
✅ If you are staying in Hong Kong, bring an adapter or power bank, otherwise, your phone won't charge.
✅ Wear a pair of comfortable shoes, otherwise, your feet will hurt after a day of walking.

🚶Arrival➡︎Departure 🇭🇰One-day tour City Walk
❗❗❗❗Travel essentials: 1. ID card 2. Hong Kong and Macau pass 3. Overseas traffic (there is no need to buy a traffic card for one day, just buy a traffic package and activate roaming) 4.💰 You can bring it or not (you can exchange it for Hong Kong dollars) Some stores only accept Hong Kong dollars and Octopus cards)
1️⃣Travel: 🚄High-speed rail from Shenzhen North to Hong Kong Kowloon Station (I bought the high-speed rail in advance, but later I discovered that it was faster to go to Futian Port to pass the customs than to take the high-speed rail). Around 9 a.m. on the 8th, the customs clearance was very smooth and there were not many people.
2️⃣Route: Mong Kok (Exit B3) - Yau Ma Tei (Exit C) - Tsim Sha Tsui (Exit J2) - Star Ferry Pier, take the Star Ferry to Central - Victoria Peak (you can walk halfway up and down) - Kin Nidicheng (Exit c) - high-speed rail station
3️⃣Eat: 💁🏻♀️Eat casually. I didn’t look for it specifically. The taste is quite average. However, you can basically see recommended restaurants when walking. There are many people in line. I don’t want to wait, so I just eat casually.
ps: It’s fun to wander around in many places. I’ll go there next time!
most people are friendly
1. At the subway station, my friend who was traveling with me whispered to herself which way to go to Mong Kok (she was looking at her mobile phone). A sister had already turned her back to us. She probably heard this and turned around immediately and said to us. Take whichever line, turn right and go down and so on!
2. At about 7:30 in the evening, my friend wanted to use the restroom. There was no sign on the first floor of the restroom in the shopping mall. We looked at the door and an aunt saw it. I couldn’t understand what was said. She probably said that this is the restroom. I'll wait for my partner at the door and then! The mall bell rings! Auntie swooped up and ran up really fast. Only later did she realize that it was the sound of their door closing after get off work... It was only half past seven! It's half past seven

If you come to Hong Kong for a day, just follow this route!
I can’t remember how many times I’ve been to Hong Kong, but I always have a new experience every time.
Hong Kong is really a city that is very suitable for Citywalk. It has the pyrotechnic streets of Mong Kok, the sunset car rides in movie scenes, and the romantic European style.
There happens to be the French Art Festival in Hong Kong in May. Come with me to take photos and check in.

Every year in May and June, the French May Arts Festival holds about 100 cultural activities, and the whole city is filled with a warm and romantic French atmosphere. This time I watched the acrobatic performance of the French XY Theater Company at the Grand Kwun, Central. The flowing movements were beyond imagination. body control
After watching the whole performance, I still couldn't get over it, and I felt the unique artistic charm of acrobatics~

One-day trip from Zhuhai to Hong Kong 🇭🇰
Take a taxi to the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Cross-Sea Bridge and take Jinba → Hong Kong Port. The journey takes about 40 minutes. The fare is RMB 58 per person. The bus will leave when Jinba is full~
First stop📍: Hong Kong Port → Mong Kok
I queued up to go through customs, which took about 10 minutes, and then I waited for A21 to go to Mong Kok Exit B2. You can take photos on both sides of the flyover. This trip to Jinba lasted more than 30 minutes, and you can pay with Alipay.
Second stop📍: Central
The pink graffiti wall here in Central really stands out from the film. Although it actually feels a bit shabby, it still has a very atmospheric feel when photographed.
You can find it by locating umanote
Fineprint restaurant
The ordering clerk at the restaurant can't communicate well in Mandarin and Cantonese. The baby who doesn't speak English well can use translation software or use pictures on the Internet to order for him [
The restaurant opened at 11am and it quickly filled up. There were also quite a few people taking photos outside. You may have to wait to take photos, but in HK you can really take photos anywhere hhh
Third stop📍: Kennedy Town
You can see it after exiting from Exit C of Kennedy Town MTR and walking less than 200 meters.
There are quite a few ladies across the road taking photos and checking in.
The street view is also very nice! When taking photos, you really need to pay attention to the passing vehicles.
%Arabica coffee
At winctons coffee, walk straight towards the sea for about 200 meters and you will arrive.
You can check into the coffee shop. It has glass windows on the second floor, which is also very nice for taking photos.
You can also check in on the road signs next to it! Checking in at the taxi station is very easy to photograph! [
Fourth stop📍: Victoria Harbor
As soon as you step out of the subway, you will see the sea. Let’s come to Victoria Harbor to enjoy the sea breeze.
Transportation🚇: Exit A2 of the Convention and Exhibition Station, ground floor on the 1st floor, cross the road opposite and turn right.
