The Disney Castle
#myhiddengems
Neuschwanstein, with its fairy tail like architecture, is the most famous castle in Germany and Europe. I had long wanted to see it. This one time I had a positive word from someone who recently visited. You see the place is under constant repairs and restoration. You don't want the sight of scaffoldings to spoil the experience for you.
Crowds can be another hassle, since thousands of tourists visit this castle everyday. So, no repairs and clear view was a good enough reason to head there this time. I was given some very good pointers about the castle and hacks around it for a good view. Apparently at the Marie’s Bridge, one can capture panoramic shots of the castle surrounded by a pastoral setting that includes two lakes. This is you'll also have an opportunity to feed eager swans if you are carrying some snacks on you.
The tour is also worth taking as it will offer you insights and background to the castle. There is also an on-site gift shop, which provides books and pamphlets illustrating the sad life of King Ludwig II, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1886. This castle was meant to be his private residence. All in all, this is a worthy trip to take from whenever you are. Just put in some research to make sure your transport and weather is comfortable. #summerdestinations #myhiddengems #germany #disneycastle #cherryblossom2024 #100waysoftravel

[Germany] Neuschwanstein Castle: A romantic castle, an ideal attraction to visit again in 2024
#2024 TRAVEL WISH #Good Place #Attraction Photography Guide #Weekend Travel #Overseas Travel #Check-in #Travel Inspiration #Travel
Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the most famous castles in Germany and the inspiration for Disneyland Castle. It is located at the foot of the Alps in Bavaria. It was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria in the 19th century to commemorate his ideals. The kingdom and his beloved composer Wagner, the architectural style is influenced by medieval Gothic and Romanesque, the interior decoration is rich and gorgeous, there are many murals and carvings, showing the king's romanticism and fantasy world.
I took a bus from the town of Fussen to the entrance of the castle, and then walked up a winding mountain road. Along the way, I could see beautiful mountain views and lakes, and the air was fresh. I bought a ticket to visit the castle and followed the tour guide inside. The castle has many amazing rooms, such as a spacious throne room, a gorgeous opera house, a mysterious cave, and an unfinished church. Each room has a different theme, such as ancient mythology, medieval legends , Wagner's operas, etc. I think the most beautiful thing is the king's bedroom, with scenes from "Percival" painted on the wall, an exquisite wood carving on the bedside, and the castle towers and valleys can be seen outside the window. I think these castles are worth seeing, reflecting different eras and personalities, and also showing the history and culture of Germany. They are well worth a visit. I hope to have the opportunity to return in 2024.

Let's take a walk around Neuschwanstein Castle.
Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein) is a castle located in the Bavarian Alps.
Germany Built during the reign of King Ludwig II of Bavaria in 1845–1886
It is the most beautiful European castle in the world and is the prototype for the construction of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
At Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland, including the magical land, it is very grand and beautiful.
If you come to visit Germany and do not stop by Neuschwanstein Castle
It can be said that you have not been to Germany. ^-^

A model for the Disneyland castle?!
Access: Take bus 73 or 78 (2.6€ per adult) from Füssen Station and get off at the 5th stop. From there, walk/take a horse-drawn carriage/shuttle bus to Neuschwanstein Castle. The last bus from Neuschwanstein Castle to the stop is at 18:45. The last bus to Füssen is also generally at 19:30 as shown in the 4th photo.
Sightseeing spots: It is generally recommended to purchase tickets online in advance. When the reserved time arrives, a guide will appear at the top of the screen in the 5th photo, so you can enter. The tour moves in a group following German/English/audio guidance (multilingual support. Japanese is also available). There is no plan that allows individuals to move around freely.
The photo spot for the first and second photos is from Marienbrücke. I think the photos taken from here will be the most beautiful.
Shopping: There were plenty of souvenir shops both inside and around the castle. There are no photos because photography is prohibited inside the stores, but there were plenty of pottery, postcards, etc. There seems to be a cafe inside the castle, but it was closed because I arrived late.
It's especially popular on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. You can tour the castle for 17.5€ per adult.

Neuschwanstein: the fairytale & historical
#2023travelwish
Germany, one of the most popular tourist destination. By the long time history of this country, people comes and go with great memories.
Neuschwanstein is well know and most of travelers come to Germany will come here either not only for take a picture but also its story.
Neuschwanstein castle is identical. The views around the castle always change upon the season you go. I’ve been to Neuschwanstein castle on autumn, it’s beautiful place. The trees all around are colorful. I’d like to comeback here on this winter to enjoy the different views that I’ve been to, this is my 2023 travel wish.

Looking for the Sleeping Beauty
#2023travelwish
Germany is known for its many castles and visiting castles is just what we did while there. One of the most famous castles to visit is the Neuschwanstein Castle as the castle in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty was known to be inspired by it. It was quite a hike up as the castle is located deep in the forest, on a rugged hill in Southwest Bavaria.
There are many nature trails to choose from, depending on where you arrive from. The one we chose was a 7km route that was moderately challenging with lots of steep hills to climb. We spent roughly around 4 hours hiking and exploring the castles before heading back to the train station. It was cold, wet and rainy but that did not dampen our spirits as we were excited because we don’t have such architecture in Singapore.
It was such a memorable trip and I’ll love to visit Germany and it’s many castles again.

castle without princess
Many people know Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, but few people go to Hohenschwangau Castle. Hohenschwangau Castle is less crowded, but it is closer to the ground. It is not an unreachable fairyland castle, and daily necessities of the time are stored there. You can see the lifestyle of the nobles at that time. Neuschwanstein Castle is really like the castle in Disneyland. The difference is that I can actually enter it, not just watch it from a distance, and peek into the aristocratic life at that time in a different space. #neuschwansteinburg #I’m so hung up

Neuschwanstein Castle In Munich Germany
Munich is located in Germany where they are uncountable nukber of medieval houses, buildings and castle where one called the Neuschwanstein Castle is an eye opener, where I feel that it's just something out of a fairy tale book.
This castle is located in Schwangau, built in the 19th century on top of the hill where you are able to catch a glimpse from the castle down towards the ground clearly of any approaching enemies during the olden times. This castle has also gained its popularity due to the Disney story called sleeping beauty which inspired that show.
If you do want to go in, you won't be able to enter as its closed till 2024 for renovation and upkeep of the castle. But at least take a few photos of this castle as a remembrance that you have been here at least.

The 19th century Neuschwanstein Castle
The 19th century Neuschewanstein Castle located at 87645 schwangau Germany is a jawdropping, medieval castle on top of a hill above a little village of hohenschwangau where now this has become a tourists attraction.
The Castle was a refuge for Germany King ludwig 2 and also if you recall, the shape and the identical image of the Castle is similar to the Disney land sleeping beauty Castle making this Castle a very unique magical feel. You will also be able to view from the tip of the Castle an amazing view from above and if you have abit more euros to spend, you can ride on the horses carriage to bring you up and down the Castle after your tour.

A Fairy Tale Castle 🏰
King Ludwig’s II’s Neuschwanstein castle is a sight to behold in the autumn. The dreamy castle is surrounded by rich colors of crimson red, bright orange and golden yellows, offering a picturesque autumn foliage 🍂.
I was quite excited to visit this place as Neuschwanstein castle is said to be the inspiration to Disney’s Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella castles 🏰.
The interior and the exterior of Neuschwanstein are truly beautiful and makes you want (among other things) to be a real princess 👸. It truly is a must see when visiting Germany.
One of the best ways to appreciate and capture some beautiful photos of the castle is from the Mary’s bridge - it offers a lovely view Neuschwanstein castle and it’s lush surrounding areas 😊🍂.
Pretty Wanderer
Neuschwanstein Castle
It is a beautiful castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria to be an example of a shuttled stylized medieval castle, decorated with myths and excerpts from Wagner operas. Visit to this Disney inspiration and what is an apparent fairy tale castle is a must. Book your tickets online to secure a spot to tour the inside of the castle.
The MarienBrücke (Maria Bridge) is a steel bridge next to the Neuschwanstein castle. The bridge was first constructed from wood in 1845 by King Maxmillian II of Bavaria. The bridge offers a great and unique view of Neuschwanstein Castle and a beautiful photo opportunity.

Neuschwanstein Castle
From the car park to reach the castle you can walk or take a ride with the bus or carriage. The tickets to get inside the castle are at the base, where the transportation is. Unfortunately I couldn't visit it inside as I didn't had enough time to wait one hour and a half for the next group tour. But next time I'll be more prepared for this. Even so seeing the castle surroundings was a very nice experience. You have plenty of nice views and lots of nice spots to take beautiful pictures.#境外遊 #nationalpark

Magical visit to a fairytale castle, Germany
Neuschwanstein Castle is the inspiration behind the castle in Disney's Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. It is magnificent and easy to spot from far far away.
The castle is accessible by car or public transport. It sits atop a hill, which takes 15 - 20 minutes to walk uphill. It is possible to hire a horse carriage to take you up, at a fee of less than EUR 5 per pax one way.
There is a guided tour around the castle. Pre-book your tickets in advance to guarantee yourself a spot as tickets sell out fast.

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
The hilltop Schloss Neuschwanstein was home to young King Ludwig II of Bavaria, who ascended to the throne full of dreams for his kingdom, lost power to the Prussians, retreated to several fantasy palaces and became so isolated that he was declared insane in 1886. The lavish, white fairy-tale palace welcomes more than 1.4 million curious visitors annually and is said to be Walt Disney’s inspiration for the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.

Neuschwanstein Castle is a symbol of Germany.It is the prototype of Disney Castle, it is also called Cinderella Castle.Since it is not possible to take pictures inside, I can only share some of the outside scenery.
❤️Must experience:
1. The gorgeous interior decoration of Neuschwanstein Castle;
2. Take a panoramic view of "Neuschwanstein Castle" on the Marianne Bridge;
3. Going down the mountain in a carriage, the horse was very well raised by the uncle, with a healthy body and bright coat;
4. Admire the vastness of the Bavarian plain on the mountain;
5. Cool down the heat and play in the turquoise lakes above and below;
🚌How to get there:
I read a lot of traffic guides on the Internet, because I was taking my parents to travel. In order to save worry and effort, I finally chose a local one-day tour group, including the 3 attractions of Neuschwanstein Castle + Linderhof Castle + Oberammergau.
The coach is very comfortable, and the guide's explanation will give us a deeper understanding of the culture here. Forget it plus the entrance fee, it's about the same as traveling by car, $50 per person, recommended!

Neuschwenstein castle is located 2-3 hours away from Munich, Germany, by bus. This castle is high up on a hill, with a very picturesque scenery at the background, making this castle look like those castles we usually see in disney movies or other fairy tales! If you visit here, make sure you also go to the bridge viewpoint where the angle of the castle at its best. It requires a little bit of hike, but I guarantee it is worth the sweat! #HalloTrip
