As one of the busiest and most active areas in the city, Times Square is characterized by bright lights, giant screens, and diverse crowds. I enjoyed seeing the popular advertisements and the stunning Broadway theaters. Explore the high-end shops and delicious restaurants in the surrounding area. 🇺🇸Recommended cost-effective accommodations for solo travelers in New York!
If you are traveling alone in New York, I recommend the Korean guesthouse ‘White Castle’ with good value for money and a view of Manhattan!
I stayed at the 5th branch!
📍 Location
10 minutes walk from Central Park and Times Square
💰 Price
Based on the 2-person 1-room shared room I stayed in, $120 per night,
160,000 won in Korean currency
160,000 won per night in New York is really cheap. That’s Japchae..
For reference, there is a separate late fee for check-in after 8 PM
($20 after 8 PM / $30 after 10 PM / $40 after 12 PM)
🗽 Facilities
There are 3 rooms in total: a shared room (the room I stayed in), a friends room, and a master room (with a bathroom), and the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared!
There is a table for light meals in the living room,
and there are dishes and a refrigerator in the kitchen, which was nice! The master room has a private bathroom, so it wasn't crowded because 4 people were using one bathroom.

Well well well. I don't know how to describe the experience at TIME SQUARE NEW YORK the world's most prettiest, hot 🔥, beautiful and attractive place. It looks pretty in the day light but as evening wore it's black shawl, the magic 🪄 begins and the place becomes people heaven. At weekends even it is difficult to find place to stand in the square. Life lighten here and you can't even imagine how too much time has been passed. A must visit place. One of my heartiest favourite place. 💕

My trip was to the United States
Full of adventures and exciting activities wherever I go
If you intend to visit New York, this is a report on my trip with the family that lasted 25 days to New York, Orlando and the Bahamas. It was an enjoyable trip in which we visited many important and interesting tourist places in both Washington and New York, such as Disney World, Blizzard Beach, Animal Kingdom and Universal Studios. Florida, Islands of Adventure, Sea World of Orlando, Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark and Wet 'n Wild and other fun attractions Here is a detailed report of my trip and how to plan it.
Times Square
We got off from the hotel for a walk in the famous Time Square, as there you feel as if you are inside a movie, surrounded by cartoon characters from every direction, and filming with them at a cost starting from $ 5 and more, we enjoyed walking, photographing, buying souvenirs, and I searched for people specialized in booking the tourist bus, who are present almost everywhere There are two main companies, City Sights, the bus is blue, and Gary Line, the bus is red, I chose Gary Line with the type of ticket for all lines, which is better, and it was for two days only, with getting off and on at several stations, including the Statue of Liberty, the cost for an adult is $49 and children $39 inclusive Taxes, after we took the Times Square tour we went to the bus station where we took the night tour line and it was a fun tour of Brooklyn for 2 hours and there is a guide on the bus.
I will be posting a series about my NYC trip on more than one Trip.con post

Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of
Brightly lit at all hours by numerous digital billboards and advertisements as well as businesses offering 24/7 service, Times Square is sometimes referred to as "the Crossroads of the World,” ” the Center of the Universe,” "the heart of the Great White Way", “the Center of the Entertainment Universe”, and "the heart of the world".
One of the world's busiest pedestrian areas, it is also the hub of the Broadway Theater District and a major center of the world's entertainment industry.

New York city New Year's Eve
New York City New Year's Eve Last 2022.
It is really a bucket list to spend the new year's eve on NYC Times square. But you need to be ready, Dress Warm, stay hydrated and No Bathroom inside the crowd. We got inside, near the stage about 12hours before the countdown with no restroom time at all 😱, NYPD wont let you go outside to take a restroom and be back to your place. Once you get out, they wont let you in again and thus the crowd its difficult to be back inside. if your with a child, like me together with my 7yr old child, she wore a diapers so to be sure. but overall experience was all worth it. because of we are early on the scene, we had always has an exposure to the tv cameras, we even got exposures that shown in CNN and worldwide tvs and news! It was all great experience and unforgettable!

New York Times Square day trip!
Times Square in New York City, formerly known as Longacre Square, is usually referred to as the "Great White Way" because the lights of Broadway theaters illuminate the area, forming the second avenue at the intersection of Broadway, Seventh Avenue, and 40th Street. It was renamed after the completion of the New York Times Building in 1904. The central building on the square is still famous for its outdoor news "zipper" that displays the latest news. By the 1920s, the community had become a concentrated entertainment area for theaters, vaudeville, musical performances, bars, and restaurants.
This is a place where I can sit from morning till night, watching all those different animated neon lights shining on the top of buildings, as well as the many people with different emotions and shapes.
Times Square is known as the "crossroads of the world" and is one of the busiest pedestrian streets in the world. According to surveys by many world tourism and leisure magazines, Times Square is the most visited tourist attraction in the world, attracting over 39 million visitors annually.

New York must visit - Times Square
Oh yes, The Big Apple!
This is another nickname for this fancy place called Times Square that is a must visit street if you are here in New York, USA.
Full of street light and really huge marketing billabong board is what stand out here. I recommend to come during the late afternoon and evening time as this way, you get to view it in both day and even nicer at night time too since the board will light up bright and in different colours and all are fighting in place to stand out. There are also people who dressed up in cute cartoon characters along the street where they are like freelancer, but just take note that it is not free and they will require payment if you do take photo with them.

Winter holiday
The best way to get out of the tropical heat is to take a vacation in a country like New York in the winter season. There are also so many attractions to visit too, like the Empire State Building, the City Hall station and of course, the iconic Statue of Liberty.
It is really convenient to get around New York with the well-connected subways, although it can get quite crowded and uncomfortably squeezy during peak hours. But do head out to walk the streets in the evening and admire the glistening lights around every corner.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What is NY without Times Square 🗽🏙️
Times Square is always crowded regardless anytime of the day. Be prepared there are a lot of people gathering at this square. Of course, be warned of those Times Square scam like the mascots, the monks who will ask you to purchase things from them or pay money to take photos.
Other than that, it’s a lifetime experience to enjoy the atmosphere here. When night comes, all the signboards are lighted up with all the huge screens. It’s really a sight to behold of New York at night with all the bustling crowd.
Tip-it can be overwhelming for first timer in New York. Try to navigate around during daytime so at least you are not lost when it comes to nightime (when the crowd gathers the most).

A walk down Times Square
Address - Times Square, Midtown Manhattan, New York, United States of America
Located at the intersection of Seventh Avenue, 42nd Street and Broadway, Times Square is a renowned international destination to visit if you are in New York. Go there during the golden hour just as the sun is setting, so you get to enjoy the beautifully coloured skies against the buildings starting to light up. Of course, with the countless billboards all around, it actually looks and feels more happening in the evening time. Do be careful and alert for pickpockets though, especially when it’s crowded.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Times Square - Chicago Musical
Was one of the best musicals in my life. Had high expectations because I loved the movie, and the musical was great too. The ambassador theater is really small so I recommend reserving a seat in the front.

Where do we even start? “New York, New York, ♫♫♫” – you can even hear Frank Sinatra singing it just like he did back in the 1980s. Discover amazing attractions, cool sights, and unusual things to do in New York City from City Hall Station to The Statue of Liberty.
We definitely would recommend going afterwards to the all famous Times Square. Sure, it’s a mainstream destination so expect plenty of tourist traps but you can still have fun and enjoy the amazing city lights, followed by a nice dinner. We actually did so at an Applebee’s right in front of the square itself! And no – prices were actually quite good for the location and so was the steak!

World Famous New York Times Square
A holiday is not complete in new york when one do not visit the ever famous New York Time Square located between intersection of Broadway and 7th avenue. New York Times Square is ever so famous due to its many huge signages of popular companies being illuminated and makes it a unique city.
This is a place also a shopping haven for many, from luxurious branded items, to the many famous chocolate brands like Reese, M&Ms, Laderach chocolatier and many more!
My recommendation is to head to time square both morning and night, this is where you are able to see the city in a different light and enjoy the variety of activies there. This is an absolute must for tourists to come to New York Times Square for the experience.

New York: City Lights Will Inspire You 🌃🏙
As Jay Z and Alicia Keys once said, “these city lights will inspire you,” and sure they did 🤩
New York Times Square Night vs Day Images.
The city lights here are blinding and exciting.
💡Travel Tip: The later you go at night, the less people crowded it will be, which will help you take better photos!
Also! I went on a Saturday night around 7PM and it was extremely crowded. I went back again the next day on Sunday around 9PM and there were still people but it was way less crowded.
☀️🌙
The day and night vibes in Times Square is very different. When you go at night, it’s very captivating and exciting. Don’t get me wrong, it’s spectacular in the day too! However, there’s something about going to Times Square with your friends after a long day. You’ll get blinded by the huge billboards, flashing lights, loud music, the smell of the street vendors, and the amazing vibes.
I can’t wait to go back!

The crossroad of the world
Iconic, touristy, crowded but must visit. Times Square is a attraction that is in fact where two major arteries intersect. Nonetheless it's a very energetic and a place full of energy. The lights will truly blind you but that's fine, you're in New York, seemingly the center of the world!
It's a must visit even if it's just to walk past it. Spend a few minutes absorbing the energy of the area and take a picture of two!
