I had the pleasure of witnessing the golden hour from Phuket's iconic Windmill Viewpoint, followed by a serene stroll on Yanui Beach. As the sun began its descent, I found myself at the Windmill Viewpoint, aptly named for the large, white, Naresuan electricity-generating windmill that stands proudly on the promontory. The viewpoint offers a panoramic vista of Phuket's southern coastline, a tapestry of azure waters, verdant islands, and sandy beaches. As the sun dipped lower, hues of orange, pink, and purple painted the sky, the windmill standing as a solitary sentinel against the stunning backdrop. Leaving the viewpoint, I arrived at Yanui Beach just as twilight was setting in. Who loves viewing sunset? The most unforgettable road trip ever is going to this windmill viewpoint just to catch the sunset, in Rawai Phuket. We leave our hotel in Banyan Tree, then a rent a motorcycle for only 500 batt, then search this place by just asking local people🤔. It's good Thai people are very friendly and approaching. We pass a lot of towns just like Patong city, and travel more hours to reach this place, and we never regret coz the weather is just fine. And here are the amazing pictures. Again, since it is a road trip, reminder, put water and some biscuits or any food packs inside your backpack, in case no restaurants along the road, you have an emergency food and drinks. Another tip not to forget, BE FRIENDLY if you are foreigner to other countries, you will be safe and sound, just like us, we almost lost our way going back to hotel, but local help us and teach the right way. It was 9am when we leave our hotel, and almost midnight when we came back, a lil bit scary coz we just have a motorcycle, but thanks God, we'r safe. It was an amazing road trip by the way. 📍The places we visited were 'Yanui Beach' and 'Windmill Viewpoint'. 🚩We traveled by motorcycle, which made it easier. We passed through Rawai Beach and headed towards Promthep Cape. This route is very beautiful. Keep going straight and you'll reach Yanui Beach. 📷 The view from the top was taken from the Windmill Viewpoint. The evening light is very beautiful. Come watch the sunset together. Drive carefully. Although there aren't many cars, the road is quite winding.

#phukettrip It’s such a nice view point called Windmill Viewpoint because there’s a wind mill in place. The view point where you can see an island, coast and several boats floating around the sea. The view point is shady where you can take picture and enjoy a peaceful time there as well. Parking is available in place. Also, there’s small shop selling drinks and snacks. Moreover, there is a toilet on location and you can access it by paying a small fee. It worths visiting this place and having a peaceful time there. Note: no fee to enter this place and there’s a guard on location to arrange cars at parking and also collect fees for entering toilet. Sunrise and sunset will be awesome at this place.

Windmill Viewpoint, also known as the Windmill Viewpoint, is a renewable energy power station managed by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. It is located just a short distance from Promthep Cape. The location is perfect, offering a vast blue sea view, surrounded by lush green mountains, and beautifully lined wind turbines. The overall scenery is excellent, making you feel like you are abroad. If you walk down the hill, there are many spots for taking photos. Besides taking beautiful photos and enjoying the romantic sunset view, some tourists who love extreme sports come here to skydive and parasail on good weather days.

#songkran2024 Very beautiful scenery from Windmill Viewpoint. Quiet place, only our family was there at that time of visit on a weekday. We got the transport to wait for us while we took photos. Near to Prompthep Cape, another top viewpoint.The view is breathtaking. Not much of the security guard that’s why I found that the parking and traffic was a little bit jam. Worth the hype!

Windmill Viewpoint, Phuket - Thailand, This is a nice place to see beautiful ocean view and sometimes you will see some people paragliding there with the same height as the viewpoint. This is so cool that we are on the same height as them.
