📢 FULAR Project: FIRST PROJECT ACTIVITIES! On December 18, an online meeting of the consortium was held as part of Work Package 2, led by the Development Agency of the City of Prijedor "PREDA." During the meeting, the goals of the work package were discussed, focusing on identifying sustainable materials and technologies for furniture production and developing guidelines for implementing a circular economy. 🌱 🔎 About the FULAR Project: 📍 Project Name: Developing Circular Economy in the Furniture Industry / Shaping New Paths Towards Furniture Circularity (FULAR) 🎯 Goal: Supporting the development of a circular economy in the Adriatic-Ionian region. 🌍 Consortium: Universities, research institutes, clusters, agencies, and centers from 8 countries (Greece, Italy, Slovenia, BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Albania). 💡 Duration: 36 months (September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2027). 💶 Funding: Interreg VI-B IPA Adriatic-Ionian Programme. 📍 Sárvár, Hungary Kristina Topić, project manager of the Interreg RurALL project, is participating in a two-day consortium meeting in Sárvár. 🔍 On the first day, the focus is on mapping of neglected buildings and developing innovative models for their revitalization, which are key to the revival of rural communities. The RurALL project, in partnership with 10 countries, works on creating a sustainable future inspired by the New European Bauhaus initiative. 🌍 Transnational cooperation brings new solutions to challenges such as depopulation and revitalization of unused resources, strengthening rural areas throughout the Danube region. 🌍 Exciting Progress for the NUDGES Project in Zagreb! The NUDGES team gathered in Zagreb on November 5-6 for the 2nd Technical & Steering Committee Meeting, hosted by Mreža znanja d.o.o. at the House of Europe. This event brought together eight project partners and a representative from RAM Central Stara Planina to share insights and strategies. 💡 Day 1 Highlights We discussed significant updates on Work Package 1 (WP1) related to research progress, Work Package 2 (WP2) concerning preparations for winter pilot actions, and preliminary plans for Work Package 3 (WP3), which focuses on impact assessment. The day concluded with an engaging city tour that showcased the essence of Zagreb. 📊 Day 2 Focus The second day concentrated on administrative and communication updates, including reporting, carbon monitoring, and strategic outreach. Our Communication Officer, Ivana Mihaljevic, conducted interviews with each partner for future promotional purposes. 🗓During last week on 16th and 17th September the IaaS4DR project consortium met in-person again, this time in Murska Sobota, Slovenia 🇸🇮 hosted by project partner Pomurje Technology Park. 💡Part of the project partner meeting was a study visit to VIRS company which is specializing in welding and cutting systems with a years of expertise providing the customers with consulting, industrial solutions, services, training and presentations. We also got to see AviRings🕊 company presentation which is specializing in modern approach in the Pigeon racing sport. For example GPS bluetooth Rings, Live electronic system for tracking of the races or the Complete OLR Management solution.📡 Certainly a very interesting presentation about high technology products with unusual background. After that we got to see what kind of activities our project partner Pomurje Technology Park is working on- one of them being very impactful activity currently under implementation. It is concerning analysis of health status or measurment of the effects of food products on human body.🫀🧠Which are nowadays becoming more and more imporant. Our partner meeting also consisted of workshops relating directly to the IaaS4DR Regional meetings as well as one for identifying future training needs within support providers in the respective regions.🤝 🗞There are many activities coming up soon so stay tuned on our social media!🔜
