Municipality of Beltinci celebrating Tradition with a Slovenian Breakfast! 🥖🍯🍏 Today, our municipality came together for a traditional Slovenian breakfast, enjoying locally sourced bread, honey, butter, milk, dairy products, and apples. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share a meal, and celebrate the simplicity and quality of our local produce. Fun fact: Did you know that the Slovenian breakfast is often seen as a symbol of local agriculture and sustainability? It typically features fresh, wholesome ingredients that are both healthy and full of flavor, reflecting Slovenia’s strong tradition of supporting small-scale farming and natural foods. 🌱 #SlovenianBreakfast #LocalProduce #Community #Tradition #Sustainability #SocialBreakfast

A New Chapter for the Island of Love Two years ago, we stood with heavy hearts, watching the devastation of our beloved floating mill. But today, on the enchanting Island of Love (Otok ljubezni), the mill wheel is once again turning, and a brand-new ferry is ready to take you on a serene ride across the Mura River. Come and experience the magic of this restored treasure – a beautiful reminder that even after the storm, something wonderful can emerge. 🏘️ LP Municipality of Beltinci : Kicking Off the Mapping Activity🏘️ Yesterday, we had the pleasure of launching the first mapping pocess of our RurAll project with an initial mapping session! Using the Mapping implementation plan we first gathered all the information available in our Geographic information system and then we went to the field to collect information about the building at the location. Later in the day, we had a productive first meeting with local community representatives, presenting the mapping activity and discussing the importance of their involvement. We invited them to support the project by helping us locate and map deteriorating dwellings in their areas. 💬 Their insights and collaboration will be essential to achieving our goal of locating and revitalizing rural settlements, and creating opportunities for sustainable development. Exciting times ahead! Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of RurAll. 🙌 #RurAll #InterregRurALL #InterregDanube #Mapping #RuralRevitalization #SustainableDevelopment #CommunityEngagement Interreg Danube Region Programme

RurALL - Introducing our Lead Partner Project Team 🙋♀️ 🙋♂️ We are thrilled to introduce the passionate and dedicated team of Municipality of Beltinci. Team members: Simona Roudi (project coordinator/manager), Kristina Koter (project assistant), Matic Kuščer (project assistant), Štefan Činč (financial manager) and Dejan Bogdan - NAJprojekt (consultant). The team is supported by mayor of Municipality of Beltinci Marko Virag. Municipality of Beltinci is located on the left bank of Mura River in the flat area of Prekmurje. The area of 62,3 km2 is populated by approximately 8100 people. The municipality has 8 settlements. Numerous natural attractions preserved nature and cultural heritage determine the municipality identity. Our motivation for developing the project and leading the RurALL Consortium: Rural revitalization 🏠 We are driven by a desire to breathe new life into rural communities that have been affected by depopulation. Innovation and Creativity 💡 The New European Bauhaus approach inspires us to think outside the box and embrace innovation and creativity in our efforts to transform rural spaces. Community engagement 🏢 By engaging local residents, stakeholders, experts, and organizations in the planning and implementation process, we empower communities to shape their own future and take ownership of the project. Cultural preservation 🎭 Older buildings are part of our history, culture, and identity. RurALL project honours and preserves the heritage of older buildings in rural communities and celebrates their significance while adapting them to the evolving and modern needs. Sustainability 📈 By repurposing existing infrastructure rather than building new, we can reduce the environmental impact. #Depopulation #DanubeRegion #RuralRevival #NewEuropeanBauhaus #CommunityEmpowerment Interreg Europe Interreg Danube Region Programme Občina BELTINCI

It is time to introduce the RurALL project poster. It sends a message of applying the New European Bauhaus approach to create vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive rural communities. Together we are shaping the future where older buildings are not monuments of the past but catalysts of innovation and rural revival. We will foster a sense of belonging among community members to overcome the depopulation challenge. Huge thanks to Zoran Dimitrijevic and #PREDA for their invaluable contributions in preparing the poster. Let's continue to inspire and empower each other through the exchange of ideas and knowledge! #Depopulation #DanubeRegion #RuralRevival #NewEuropeanBauhaus #CommunityEmpowerment Interreg Danube Region Programme

Depopulation is a major territorial challenge of the #DanubeRegion that demands a comprehensive long-term policy response, and it is challenging for rural local communities to effectively approach the issue while struggling with limited governance capacities. The objective of the recently approved Interreg Danube Region Programme #RurALL project is to develop a governance model on addressing depopulation in rural areas by improving the planning, management, and decision-making/collaborative capacities of rural communities in exploiting the potential of deteriorating dwellings. The project consortium joins 14 partners and 7 associated strategic partners that are inspired by the New European Bauhaus that promotes an integrated approach and consequently involvement of different types of stakeholders/experts. Looking forward to the #RurALL journey… #RurALL #Depopulation #DanubeRegion #NewEuropeanBauhaus
