Reflecting on Our Youth Business Skills Training: July 22-24, 2024 ⬇ We are delighted to share the success of our Youth Business Skills Training, a vibrant three-day event aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge. Throughout the training, participants were inspired by motivational sessions featuring remarkable figures like Tomislav Cvitanušić and Professor Kasim Tatić. We delved into crucial topics such as entrepreneurial thinking, financial management, time management, and creative innovation. The enthusiasm, energy, and insights from our participants were truly remarkable. Together, we explored the core principles of entrepreneurship, emphasized the importance of critical thinking and confidence, and discussed effective financial management and innovative problem-solving techniques. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part and made this training such a success. Your dedication and passion are lighting the way for a brighter, more innovative future. Celebrating the International Day of Cooperatives! Today, on the 1st of July, #InternationalDayofCooperatives, we honor the transformative power of cooperative initiatives in fostering economic empowerment and improving lives. The ReLOaD2 project proudly highlights the success story of seven participants who completed tailoring and sewing training, opening new doors for employment and economic growth. A shining example of this spirit is a young man from Vitez who has revived the traditional folk costume of the Lašvan Valley, showcasing the cultural and economic impact of cooperative efforts. 📣 We present LePetit.app - the first app in Bosnia and Herzegovina that, in addition to 150 audio stories and fairy tales in the literary languages of BiH, now also contains a complete speech therapy program with more than 100 multimedia speech exercises that are available for free through the application. This program is not a substitute for speech therapists, but an additional tool for parents, educators and pedagogues for independent work with children who exhibit speech difficulties. LePetit.app was created through the project "Development of speech through modern technologies" which was implemented through the #ReLOaD, financed by the #EU, and implemented by #UNDP, with the support of the Municipality New Sarajevo. Yesterday, on the 8th of April, marked #InternationalRomaDay, and we took an opportunity to reflect on the challenges facing the Roma community, particularly in employment and economic empowerment. Yesterday, we celebrated #WorldDownSyndromeDay and today we continue to draw inspiration from the special bond between Erda and her mom, Mynevere. The day is a celebration of the abilities of individuals with #DownSyndrome. Through the EU-funded ReLOaD2 program, DSK Mitrovica provides continuous support and empowerment to these individuals. #ReLOaD is funded by the #EuropeanUnion and implemented by UNDP Kosovo.
