The Cox's Bazar Development Authority (CoxDA) is a government agency in Bangladesh responsible for the development of Cox's Bazar, a popular tourist destination in the Bay of Bengal. The jurisdiction area of CoxDA is about 690 square kilometers, covering marine drive, four municipalities (Cox's Bazar, Chakoria, Teknaf, Moheshkhali), urban growth centers of other Upazilas (Pekua, Kutubdia, Eidagaon, Ramu, Ukhiya) and Saint Martin island. Cox's Bazar is renowned for its stunning beach, which stretches for 120 kilometers along the Bay of Bengal. This beach is considered the longest unbroken, sandy beach in the world and is a major draw for tourists. In addition to the beach, Cox's Bazar also offers a variety of other attractions, including seafood restaurants, souvenir shops, and historical sites. The goal of CoxDA's efforts is to make Cox's Bazar a world-class tourist destination.
