𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴! I am seeking 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 to join my research group at 𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗮𝗯 (https://lnkd.in/dBjW-Ghq), starting in 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 2025. The fellowship is part of the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (https://lnkd.in/dFNM6Nvb), in collaboration between 𝗡𝗬𝗨 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗡𝗬𝗨 𝗔𝗯𝘂 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶. We focus on 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 in 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀, particularly in areas like 𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, including magnesium-based cement, limestone calcined clay cement (LC3), and geopolymer concrete, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲, 3𝗗-𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, and 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 from by-products of water treatment and industrial processes. Students will engage in 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 with opportunities to work in NYUAD's world-class labs and access the resources of NYU in New York.
