Meet one of the recipients of our Policy Action Award 2024! Humanitarian Enhancement Aid for Resilient Transformation (HEART) was awarded the Policy Action Award 2024 for their impactful Educational Assistance for Underprivileged and Dropout Students To Dalita Fishing Community initiative in Teknaf Under Cox's Bazar. The project focuses on providing basic educational rights to 40 children from dropout and marginalised communities in Teknaf, ensuring they receive pre-primary, primary, and secondary education through advocacy and inclusion in the government curriculum. Founded in 2021, HEART is a non-profit organisation dedicated to youth and women empowerment, education, child protection, and humanitarian services. Operating in seven upazilas of Cox's Bazar, HEART has established partnerships with over 70 network and alliance partners worldwide. This impactful program envisions an inclusive education system that uplifts every learner and ensures no one is left behind. By focusing on teacher training, fostering parental engagement, and creating a nurturing learning environment, this initiative aims to bridge educational disparities and empower underprivileged students with equal opportunities. Founded in 2014, HSKS has been transforming the lives of underprivileged communities through education, nutrition, health, and skills training.
