There are always different ways to advance a goal. The following documentary by ARTE RE shows two different approaches to cold case analysis, including the International Cold Case Analysis Project (ICCAP) for support by students from police training centres and universities from Australia to Europe and America in a case with an international connection through the killing of a Scottish family father in Lower Saxony / Germany in 1983. As ARTE is a Franco-German broadcaster, the report is also available to stream bilingually in German and French. The report also shows that relatives across three generations, from parents to siblings to the children of a victim are not in state to close the books. This points impressively to the fact, that it is a task for society as a whole and for criminal policy to support police in unsolved homicides and missing persons cases. Many thanks to all the participating universities, police training centers, especially AMBER Alert Europe , Locate International, Polizeiakademie Niedersachsen, BTU Cottbus and Hochschule Mittweida and the responsible investigating authorities in Celle. https://lnkd.in/eT3KZY8h
