✈️ This Friday, a large-scale emergency exercise took place at Antwerp Airport in collaboration with the Governor’s Emergency Planning Service and over 70 participants. The exercise was successful and demonstrated that the procedures are effective. CEO Bruno De Saegher: “Responding quickly and efficiently to emergency situations is crucial. ✈️ New Summer Flights: Antwerp to Bolzano/Bozen with SkyAlps 🌄 Starting April 2025, Antwerp Airport and #SkyAlps are excited to introduce direct summer flights between Antwerp and Bolzano/Bozen! After the success of our winter flights, this new connection makes the stunning region of South Tyrol even more accessible year-round. Since 2022, SkyAlps has operated three weekly flights between Antwerp and Bolzano/Bozen during the winter season (December to April). Starting in April 2025, the Italian airline will extend its operations into the summer season with two flights per week from April to October. Looking back at an interesting stay in Helsinki last week where I had the pleasure to join the ACI Europe Commercial Forum followed by the ACI Commercial & Retail Conference. I always enjoy the transparency and open discussions between airports during the Commercial Forum. We are building a community where we exchange knowledge and discuss mutual challenges. It was great to participate in the ACI Commercial & Retail Conference which focuses on enhancing and expanding non-aeronautical revenues and giving latest information on the developments in the passengers needs and non-aeronautical trends.
