📢 Project news alert 🔋 NEXTBAT project is here to face the challenges of the transport sector. It will provide a new framework for standardization of the next generation battery system design. It will contribute to: 🔹 speed up a safe and sustainable electrification of transport and mobile applications in the EU, 🔹 meet the EU CO2 reduction target and to reach a climate neutral economy by 2050. ⚡ The electrification of transport and mobile applications requires high-performance and safe battery system. Over 650 participants registered for the 8th edition of the RTR Conference, which took place from 11 to 13 February at the EGG in Brussels. During the opening and closing sessions, representatives from both industry and the European Commission highlighted how the European research scene is advancing, providing benefits to the environment, economy, and European society as a whole. At the conference, participants learned about the outcomes and anticipated impacts of over 90 EU-funded projects supported by the EU’s flagship funding programmes for research and innovation, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. Several EUCAR projects were presented in key areas, such as Green Vehicles, Urban Mobility, Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Safety, and Automated Road Transport. At the CCAM Association, we are 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 to have an 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 model within and among the Administration Board, thematic clusters, and member categories. Many of our experts were invited in the last few days to present projects or to moderate discussions at the 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 (RTR Conference) which we have enjoyed co-organising. 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿 #𝗖𝗖𝗔𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀! 𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼-𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. We still cannot believe that this year we have reached slightly more than 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 and as many as 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲. Truly remarkable edition!
