Congrats to Perenco CCS (Carbon Storage) on the exciting progress in the preparation of the Poseidon Leman CO2 injection test! We are proud to be Petrodec’s ISO tank partner for this ground-breaking project. Our ISO tank fleet and CO2-expertise make safe transportation and intermediate storage of your captured CO2 possible. With our talented team, the Bofort Academy was pleased to organize two ISO tank operation training days to ensure safe and smooth liquid CO2 transfers. This is a good example illustrating that we contribute to make Carbon Capture and Storage possible today! #CCS #CCUS #CarbonCaptureAndStorage #MakingCarbonCaptureAndStoragePossibleToday
A major milestone is coming for the Poseidon project. #Perenco #CCS and its technical partners are putting the final preparations in place to execute the CO₂ injection test on the Leman platform. 🎵 🎶 Ain't no mountain high enough for Adam Ondra, Carbonaide and Bofort to enable the journey to zero! 🎵 🎶
I'm used to climbing high walls, but I was still surprised by how exposed it is and really enjoyed the spectacular view of Copenhagen and the famous Öresund Bridge. ✊ So, if you're not a very experienced multi-pitch climber, this will be a great start and training for multi-pitch climbing and the experience of a lifetime will be a bonus. I must say that the Danes, Swedes and other nations living near Copenhagen must be happy. They don't need to travel to the mountains for great outdoor, multi-pitch climbing. They have a proper adventure right in the city ✌ Watch the new video on my YouTube channel and let me know in the comments how you like CopenHill, the wall and our innovative project with Mammut Sports Group AG, CopenHill, Klimate.co, Bofort NV , ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter and Carbonaide focused on carbon dioxide (CO2) removal and storage in concrete ⚡ Enjoy the film produced together with Mammut made by filmmakers Laco Korbel, Pavel Klement and Vojtěch Ličko. Our ISO tank fleet offers a safe and secure way to transport and store your captured CO2. In combination with a lease agreement, we can also organise your CCS/CCUS supply chain needs. The video shows one of our ISO tanks at ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter in Copenhagen, loading captured CO2 for transport to Carbonaide where it is being utilized in the production of concrete, partly replacing cement as a binding medium and thereby storing it. Great story - we’re happy to be an active part of it.
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We are moving in the right direction ✌ As a climber, I've discovered many beautiful places around the world that deserve preservation. I travel a lot by car or, occasionally, by plane, and I am pretty aware of its negatives regarding carbon footprint ☝ So, the idea of capturing 𝗖𝗢𝟮, storing and using it? I am in! Together with my team, Mammut Sports Group AG, CopenHill, Klimate.co, Bofort NV , ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter and Carbonaide. This is a good example illustrating that our focus on CO2 and CCUS is paying off. We’re not just offering CO2 transportation and storage capacity, but also helping move the world towards net-zero.
When you have done something big its time to stop at think. I believe we at ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter has done something quite specular in our work with #CarbonCapture. And now it's time for me to move on! We have successfully erected the worlds first demonstration size carbon capture plant on a waste-to-energy plant. This could not have been done without our great partners DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Pentair, Ramboll and the support of EUDP - Det Energiteknologiske Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram. We have proven that the CO2 captured is better than food grade and fully applicable for industrial as well as storage purposes. Linde is our valued partner for CO2 logistics and together with Carbonaide, Bofort NV and Klimate.co we have successfully stored CO2 permanently in concrete. We made a lot of headlines on the way. I will add links to articles in the first comment. What am I doing now then? Wells first of all I currently have have the most important task in the world wich is being on parental leave with my daughter. And after that? I will tell you in the new year.

Bofort NV reposted this
Recent Børsen article about Carbonaide's collaboration with ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter. The connector between us was our ISO tank partner Bofort NV and just to make sure: there have been already multiple fill-ups with the 22-ton tank facilitated by Bofort with the help of regaco a/s ✅ This means a lot of concrete products sold by the first user of Carbonaide's technology Rakennusbetoni- ja Elementti Oy in Hollola. Some are already assembled all over Finland. More next week about the first movers 💎 And talking about first movers: finally this week all the pieces related to our Copenhagen CO2 source were revealed with Mammut Sports Group AG and Klimate.co ✨ But what's next for #Denmark? Local concrete actions. If this sounds interesting from the perspective of #concrete and #CO2, it's high time to connect. Also, feel free to reach out to our CEO Tapio Vehmas if you are in Copenhagen next week for Building Green DK 🇩🇰 Learn Danish here: https://lnkd.in/di85niYp

Great news: the CCS Project Greensand will be continued! This is an important step on the road to net-zero. Last year we provided Project Greensand with a significant number of our ISO tanks to safely move liquid CO2 from Antwerp to the Nini West field in the North Sea. Now the EU commission confirms the validity of the project by providing a grant from the EU Innovation fund. Bofort is a strong believer in #CCS and #CCUS projects to help the world make progress towards to net-zero. We are involved in a growing number of similar projects of different form and scale and the message from the EU commission makes us even more determined to carry on. We will continue to work hard to make CCS and CUS possible today.
A good day for Project Greensand and CCS in Europe. Today, the EU Commission has announced the selection of innovative net-zero projects to receive grants from the EU Innovation Fund. Among the 85 selected projects is Project Greensand operated by INEOS Energy together with the license partners Harbour Energy and Nordsøfonden. Last year Project Greensand demonstrated as a worlds first that CO2 could be transported cross borders to be stored offshore to mitigate climate change. And recently the independent verifier DNV verified that CO2 can be stored safely in Greensand. The good news on Project Greensand being among the selected net-zero projects is a huge acknowledgement of the importance of CCS in general and of the work done by the partners behind Greensand. The support from the Innovation Fund will be a valuable contribution to our work with Project Greensand and the fulfilment of the ambition to establish the first CO2-storage site within the EU by the end of 2025/start of 2026.

Yesterday, another initiative was announced in which we participate to contribute to reduce and offset #carbonemissions. #CO2, captured at the ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter facility in Denmark was loaded into one of our ISO tank containers and transported to Carbonaide in Finland. Carbonaide has developed a revolutionary technology to cure precast concrete using CO2 as a curing agent. This technology allows for use of CO2 in the process, replacing cement, thus resulting in lower cement consumption (additional reduction of the CO2 footprint) and lower production cost (less cement needed). The CO2 credits which result from this project are being used by Swiss outdoor sports company Mammut Sports Group AG as part of their decarbonization strategy. #CCUS #CCS #concrete

Today, Swiss outdoor sports company Mammut Sports Group AG announced a CO2 removal initiative as part of their decarbonization strategy. CO2 captured at the ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter facility in Denmark was loaded in one of our ISO tank containers and transported to Carbonaide in Finland where it is used to produce concrete. Thanks to our relationship with integrator regaco a/s and its specialist liquid CO2-materials handling team, we were able to safely load the ISO tank container and facilitate this project swiftly. #CCUS
🌍 We’re excited to share this important milestone and are proud to be the connecting piece between Mammut Sports Group AG, ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter and Carbonaide, facilitating collaboration that will drive real progress in scaling and developing this carbon removal project. 🌍 We’re equally inspired by Mammut’s commitment to climate action and their desire to lead by example, and bring Adam Ondra on board as a supporter. Early September he and Mads Emil Dalsgaard met at ARC to shine a light on bringing this technology to the next stage. This project is just the beginning, and we look forward to seeing this investment inspire even more action in the fight against climate change!
