Romande Energie, SolydEra Group and Zwahlen & Mayr Sa team up for PRHYSM to raise the profile of green hydrogen in Switzerland PRHYSM will produce green hydrogen for use on the same industrial site, contributing to the national effort to reduce greenhouse gases. The production plant, located in the town of Aigle, is expected to be operational in 2025. This example of circularity in action is one way in which industry can lessen its burden on the environment

🔝 September 2024 was a milestone for CEMARK in achieving new results in the field of environmental sustainability. In particular, we have achieved another reduction in CO2 emissions and increased the use of alternative fuels - now 19.4% of energy for production comes from alternative sources. ♻️ Thanks to the innovations and dedicated work of our team, the clinker content in cement has decreased to 71.3%, which is a significant improvement compared to 2021. This is a big step in the fight against greenhouse gas emissions, which helps reduce our environmental impact. 🏭 We have achieved another reduction in specific CO2 emissions - 578 kg/t of cement, which is also significantly lower than in 2021. 🌍 These achievements are the result of constant work on the introduction of alternative fuels, optimization of technologies and reduction of negative impact on nature. CEMARK remains committed to the principles of environmental responsibility and innovation, working to create a more sustainable future. Impressive scenes from our pilot campaign at Phoenix Zementwerke Beckum (Germany)! After a successful pilot campaign, our carbon capture pilot plant has been transported to its next destination 🚛 - ready for new projects and insights. 📈 During the campaign, the GEA CEBO® pilot plant demonstrated how CO₂ reduction works in practice. With a capture capacity of up to 0.5 tons of CO₂ per day, it offers companies a flexible tool to test and integrate carbon capture technologies into their processes. From initial FEED studies to detailed planning and implementation of CEBO® plants on an industrial scale, we support our customers with customized solutions tailored to their specific needs. Together, we enable efficient carbon capture - an essential step on the road to Net Zero.
