We are proud to contribute to this ambitious project. Through the seamless integration of our square silo solutions with Poeth Solids Processing machinery, we're building a state-of-the-art organic fertilizer plant for Fertira Premier Organic Fertilizers.

Striving to contribute to a more sustainable future for our planet, Fertira believes in the importance of organic fertilizers, which not only promote crop growth but also respect the environment. Its energy-efficient machinery with 2,000 solar panels runs largely on green energy. Fertira carefully selects raw materials from natural sources and works with local suppliers to minimize our carbon footprint. By the end of 2025, the first product will roll out of the new plant. Fertira had several years of experience in the past with Poeth Solids Processing machines, such as Z-Conveyors and dust filters, and with these positive experiences, the construction of the new plant was awarded to Poeth Solids Processing. see also : https://lnkd.in/eQUQMkq9

  • Better storage leads to less waste —and that makes all the difference. Today is the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste. As our customers are primarily companies active in the food manufacturing segment of the food value chain, this day is highly relevant to our business. Although our role in this value chain may seem small, we have a responsibility to reduce any form of loss or waste in food manufacturing facilities around the world. Tackling food loss and waste represents a triple-win opportunity—for the climate, for food security, and for the sustainability of our agrifood systems. It cannot be put on the backburner, especially in a time of rising global hunger and surging food prices. According to FAO’s State of Food and Agriculture report, around 13 percent of the world's food (valued at $400 billion per year) continues to be lost after it is harvested and before it reaches retail outlets. Meanwhile, UNEP’s Food Waste Index report shows that a further 17 percent of food is wasted at the retail level and by consumers, particularly in households. FAO estimates that the food lost and wasted each year could feed 1.26 billion hungry people. Food loss and waste (FLW) also account for 8-10 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs), contributing to an unstable climate and extreme weather events, such as droughts and flooding. These changes negatively impact crop yields, potentially reduce the nutritional quality of crops, and cause supply chain disruptions. That’s why the BRIAM Group has made it its mission to help the world store goods in a responsible and innovative way. Every BRIAM company leverages its engineering, production, and implementation expertise to make this happen.
