Breaking silos and fostering collaboration are essential for building a sustainable future. Yesterday, we took a major step in that direction. We proudly hosted the "Seas to Skies" Conference at #brusselsairport, uniting maritime and aviation leaders to advance the EU’s commitment to greener ports and airports. ✈🛥   Day one, held in our Skyhall, was filled with inspiring exchanges of ideas, progress and a shared vision for a sustainable future. It was incredible to see Stargate - EU Green Deal and four other European programmes driving #innovation and leading the way toward transformative change. A heartfelt thank you to European Commission and CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency for supporting partnerships that turn #sustainability goals into reality.

As of summer 2025, #brusselsairport will be even more connected to Asia than before! Starting August 4th, Cathay Pacific will resume non-stop connections between #Hongkong and Brussels. With four weekly flights, this relaunch further enhances our intercontinental network and reaffirms Brussels Airport's position as major hub for cultural and economic opportunities. Together with our partner Interparking, we won the "Sustainability Leadership in Parking" award at the very first Airport Parking Network Awards! This recognition celebrates our ambitious electrification project, which includes the installation of 700 EV charging points. What if your airport shuttle could drive itself? 🚎 #brusselsairport welcomes the first autonomous shuttle designed to operate on airport grounds in Belgium! During the next three months, our colleagues on tarmac will be testing this electric self-driving shuttle, as part of the Stargate - EU Green Deal project. We celebrate 5 years of Sichuan Airlines Logistics at Brussels Airport! Since their arrival in 2019, this key Chinese carrier has become a vital part of our cargo community, handling 120,000 tonnes of cargo and contributing to our global network. With #brusselsairport handling 701,000 tonnes of cargo in 2023, Sichuan chose our strategic location as their first European hub to support their expanding global and e-commerce operations. Together, we have built strong ties and contributed to the growth of international trade. Bringing aviation to the youngest generations. 🚀 The “Newton Room” pop-up landed from 12 to 22 November at the Aviation Talent Hub at #brusselsairport! Hosted by Aviato and in collaboration with FIRST Scandinavia, Boeing, GO! onderwijs van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap & UC Leuven-Limburg, the pop-up welcomed more than 175 students from 8 different Belgian secondary schools. In this five-hour module, students create a flight plan, get a flight training and fly on simulators. Their common goal? 🎯 To inspire young generations to pursue STEM education course (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and careers, fostering curiosity and shaping a brighter future.
