🎂 🎆 🎇 Celebrating 65 Years ! Yesterday we proudly marked our anniversary and brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and healthcare professionals. We would like to thank MEP Stine Bosse, MEP Vytenis Andriukaitis, Prof Annemiek Snoeckx, MD, PhD from the European Society of Radiology and Irene Norstedt from the European Commission for their contributions to the discussion on the future of healthcare in Europe. They underscored the importance of moving forward with a comprehensive EU Life Sciences Strategy that focuses on the entire care pathway, including prevention and diagnosis. This is essential for Europe to regain its position as a global leader and ensure the advancement of medical technologies. During the event, COCIR President Jan-Willem Scheijgrond shared COCIR’s vision for the future, stating “Our commitment to safe and innovative healthcare solutions is unwavering. 🫁 November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month and also 🥸 #Movember 🇸🇮 This week we proudly took part in the event "Advancements in Cancer Treatment" organised by Slovenian Business & Research Association (SBRA). 🎙️ Our own Philipp Goedecker presented our views on advancing innovation, research, and digitalisation in medical technology under new EU Legislative Frameworks. 🎯 #Radiotherapy (RT) has evolved to be one of the essential therapies for cancer treatment; some of the latest innovations focus on Adaptive Therapy and Real-time Imaging The key conclusion was: "By aligning our innovations in radiotherapy with the #AIAct and #EHDS, we can not only comply with emerging regulations but also leverage their frameworks to create safer, smarter, and more personalized cancer care solutions across Europe." 🇪🇺 📜 Find all our positions papers here https://lnkd.in/efKt93Xn #lungcancerawareness
