Cresco is pleased to announce its role as legal counsel to Revent in their recent investment in Powernaut. This seed round, amounting to €2.4 million, also saw participation from Pitchdrive | Early-stage VC 🚀, Seedcamp, and Syndicate One.   Revent is a Berlin-based venture capital firm focused on impact-driven investments in climate technology, healthcare, and economic empowerment.   Powernaut's innovative platform connects renewable energy resources, predicts their behavior, and corrects portfolio imbalances, enabling energy suppliers to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and enhance social welfare.🔋   This investment will empower Powernaut to accelerate its growth trajectory, focusing on product development, scaling operations, and expanding its footprint in new markets. 🚀 Cresco is proud to have supported Revent in this significant milestone and looks forward to Powernaut's continued success. Cresco proudly assisted Impact Shakers Ventures I (Yonca Braeckman & Alina Klarner) in the structuring, negotiation, and closing of the £1.1 million funding round. This round included other notable investors such as HearstLab, the investment arm of Hearst, focused exclusively on supporting and scaling women-led technology startups. Vested Impact is a UK-based company that leverages data from over 200 million academic papers and 100 million impact data points sourced from prominent organizations such as the United Nations and the The World Bank. Their platform enables companies and asset managers to evaluate their impacts using a science-based approach. It aligns assessments with global standards such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Cresco is honoured to have supported the expert team behind Hymont Capital Fund I in the structuring, formation, and fundraising of their first private equity fund.    This new real estate fund, with an initial committed capital of €25 million, consists of real estate expert Simon Celus alongside Linkens Nicolas (Rivean Capital), Michael Lavrysen (CVC België), and additional partners.   Hymont Capital Fund I plans to purchase existing properties, renovate, make them more sustainable and resell them at a later stage. 🏘️ Initial investors include a series of entrepreneurs and family offices such as the Leysen family (Vanbreda Risk & Benefits), Frank Vlayen (ex-CEO Waterland) and Tom Van de Voorde (executive committee member of Gimv).   Glenn L'hoëst and Dominik Verbist constituted the deal team for this transaction.   More information can be found in De Tijd 👉 https://lnkd.in/eXDbuqWj    #cresco #fundformation #realestate
