Cristóbal Balenciaga - Shoes from Spain Tribute During Milan Fashion Week, Deltalight was pleased to collaborate with Elisa Ossino Studio, to create an exhibition dedicated to the legacy of Cristóbal Balenciaga. Together, we developed a lighting concept that accentuated the shape and volume of Balenciaga’s garments, using a carefully orchestrated interplay of light beams to create depth, contrast, and a dramatic atmosphere. To preserve the delicate fabrics, the lighting approach adhered to strict illuminance limits. We used professional Fragma projectors with onboard dimmers, conducting precise measurements for each garment to ensure optimal exposure. Fragma projectors also offered exceptional versatility, thanks to interchangeable filters that adjusted the beam shape (spot, wide, elliptical), allowing for tailored lighting solutions that met the exhibition’s exacting standards.
