Chi siamo
Park Associati is an interdisciplinary collective of architects, designers, researchers and innovators, united by the desire to shape the future of the built environment. Founded in Milan in 2000 by Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi, the studio operates across architectural, urban, landscape, interior, and product design, championing an interdisciplinary approach. Every project developed by Park Associati inhabits its own specific context, from the Regione Lombardia skyscraper to the headquarters of Luxottica and Salewa, from residential and retail spaces to the revitalization of modernist buildings or entire neighborhoods. Park Associati immerses itself in the deep richness of each design opportunity, to uncover its inherent identity and deliver a transformative vision. One that’s new, unique and coherent in all its elements. Operating at the intersection between tradition and innovation, the studio excels at reinterpreting and regenerating cities to become new models of liveability and sustainability, using adaptive reuse as a core strategy. The masterplan proposal for the Messina waterfront redefines the connection between city and sea, creating a new platform where urban and coastal landscapes harmoniously merge. Inspired by the natural and mythological resonance of the Strait, this project positions Messina as a Mediterranean hub, echoing iconic passageways like Gibraltar and the Bosphorus. Our design establishes two complementary paths—the “line of continuity” seamlessly linking urban and green spaces, and the “line of the waterfront” enhancing direct access to the sea through piers, beaches, and terraces. These elements transform functional infrastructure into vibrant public spaces, celebrating Messina’s storied identity through design that is both sustainable and accessible. Congratulations to the whole Park Associati team: Elisa Taddei, Anna Frigerio, Michele Versaci, Lorenzo Aldini, Giulia Tamburini, Marcus Cox, Marianna Merisi, Francesca Pellizzaro, Stefano Venegoni, Antonio Cavallo, Ida Jonahssen, Giulia Bartoli. Our thanks to our collaborators: Studio FOA, F&M Ingegneria SpA, Studio Pietro Colonna, NCE srl. We’re proud of our project, awarded fourth place by the Autorità del Sistema Portuale dello Stretto, and excited to share our vision for Messina’s waterfront future. #WaterfrontMessina #Masterplan

Park Associati is proud to participate in the exhibition Visioni del Futuro: Architetture Avanguardistiche, organized by Ceramica Sant'Agostino in collaboration with Platform Magazine. The exhibition delves into the most experimental and visionary aspects of contemporary architectural design, exploring how the ideas of today’s designers can shape the world of tomorrow. Among the 11 contributors presenting paper-based works is Atlante, a piece by Filippo Pagliani, Founding Partner of Park Associati. This imaginative work envisions an atlas of time and space where past, present, and future converge, emphasizing the critical need for environmental responsibility and sustainability. The exhibition is part of the official collateral events of #MilanoDrawingWeek, an annual initiative by Collezione Ramo celebrating Italian drawing from the 20th and 21st centuries. Last Friday, Park Associati had the privilege of joining Fondazione Francesca Rava - NPH Italia ETS for the 12th edition of “In Farmacia per i Bambini”. With the support of our studio, we volunteered at one of the participating pharmacies, helping customers learn about the initiative and encouraging them to donate over-the-counter medicines and baby care products for children experiencing health poverty. We’re proud to have been part of this incredible chain of solidarity, alongside so many other volunteers, working together to make a difference. A heartfelt thank you to Fondazione Francesca Rava for the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause.
