💶 Tradeable mobility credits (part of the DIT4TraM Project) 🚲🚗🚎 🌿 Are they a good approach for managing travel demand and achieveing a sustainable modal shift? Do people see it as a fair and effective measure? How would they adapt their behaviour under the premise of such a system? 🎮 Over the past weeks, we developed a serious game and played it at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) and Pakhuis de Zwijger! Participants could experience how a mobility system with Tradeable Mobility Credits would function. The game was followed by an in-depth discussions on how such a system could practically function and be operationalised. 📣 Thanks to the amazing team behind this project: Jurian Baas, Daniël Scheerooren, Oded Cats, Arjan de Ruijter Sascha Hoogendoorn-Lanser, Tom Kuipers, Pip Kupers, Gemma Schepers, Lianne Nelemans, Ivo Frantzen, Eduardo Green and many more!

At #TRA2024, David Watts from Transport for Greater Manchester represented TANGENT at the Orchestra2020 & FRONTIER EU Project final conference. The session explored both the successes and challenges across the projects of the Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster. 📢 David Watts reflected on his participation in the conference: "A common theme throughout the discussion was the pivotal role of #data, particularly the importance of #standardised data format and exchange, along with the significant shared benefits of #open data. We also emphasised the importance of establishing robust #partnerships between stakeholders, particularly across both public and private sectors, and how this is key in leveraging new technologies from the transport industry and beyond. It was great to share the #positive work we have completed through TANGENT, particularly the development of the TANGENT #tools for multi-modal traffic management and how data has been shared and harmonised to enable this. Within TANGENT, we have created an environment of strong #collaboration and #innovation across partners and this has supported the testing of the tools in Greater Manchester."

🚀Looking back on a successful and interactive week at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) in Dublin, where a lot of knowledge was shared and gained. Two EU-funded sister projects FRONTIER EU Project and Orchestra2020 had their final event at the closing day of the conference. 🌍 In their session they unveiled project’s results and demonstrate solutions emerging from 3-years worth of cutting-edge research & innovation activities.   MICD director Sascha Hoogendoorn-Lanser participated in the panel discussion representing the DIT4TraM Project.
