Being Italian, he’ll initially focus on Italy before expanding to other regions.  🇮🇹 To our Italian contacts: Gianluca is ready to optimize your infectious waste management and share his valuable field experience with you! 🌍 Ledina Hyseni also joins as an International organization & Business development Africa. A globetrotter with years of experience in medical waste management, she will take charge of African markets and collaborate with international organizations. Her versatility and drive make her a fantastic addition to our growing team. ✈️ Léa Lenclus, a recent engineering graduate and Explort+ program participant (thanks to Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX)), brings fresh energy, keen analysis, and a wealth of potential. As a Business development Asia, Léa will soon head to Taiwan, where she’ll spend several months before expanding into other Asian markets and Seoul. How a hospital reduced its medical waste management costs with Ecosteryl ♻️ The Centre Hospitalier de Valenciennes installed an Ecosteryl 250 machine to treat its medical waste and address the ongoing rise in costs associated with direct incineration. ➡️ In 2021, the treatment cost for this hospital in northern France increased from €445 to €672 per ton. The hospital was dependent on the incinerator, which was saturated during the Covid crisis. Objective: to find a more cost-effective and sustainable solution. By installing the Ecosteryl 250, Valenciennes Hospital enhanced its logistical autonomy. Operational Ecosteryl machines over 12 years old in Rennes.   A long-standing customer of Ecosteryl, Séché Healthcare, a branch of Séché Environnement, operates Ecosteryl 250 machines that are over 12 years old (in their teens hence! 🙂).     Séché Environnement operates in various countries. We’ve recently visited their facilities in Rennes (35) where several tons of potentially infectious risk medical waste are processed and made safe every day.     Approximately every 10 minutes, a bin filled with potentially infectious risk medical waste is fed into an Ecosteryl machine. Overall, more than 30 tonnes of this waste are treated every week.     Thanks to Séché Healthcare for welcoming us to their facilities and emphasising the importance of collecting and processing infectious risk medical waste (DASRI).     The entire process is carried out with remarkable professionalism and in complete cleanliness by their dedicated teams.     We are proud to collaborate with them.
