✨ Collaboration, Inspiration, and Strategic Vision ✨ Last week, eu.bac's Managing Director, Gusts Kossovics, was proud to participate in the Danfoss Association Day at their HQ in Nordborg, Denmark. Joined by leaders from the European Heat Pump Association, Euroheat & Power, European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE), ASERCOM - Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers, and colleagues from Danfoss, we tackled some of the most pressing topics in the journey towards decarbonization and energy efficiency. From Building Automation and Control Systems (BACS) to heat pumps, district energy, and the role of MEPS, the solutions are at hand—but rolling them out remains a key challenge. Highlights from the day included: 🔑 Exploring synergies in policy advocacy, including EPBD opportunities where eu.bac emphasized the transformative potential of BACS. 🔧 The critical need for upskilling and reskilling technicians to support our transition to greener systems. 🤝 Strengthening alliances across the sector to make bold, pragmatic progress on our shared goals. A huge thanks to Danfoss Climate Solutions, especially Andrea Voigt and Torben Pedersen, for hosting and facilitating such an impactful day. At eu.bac, we are energized to take these discussions forward and continue working together with our peers to shape a smart, decarbonized, and efficient future for Europe’s buildings. Thank you also to Aurélie Beauvais, Russell Patten, Paul Kenny, and Marco Masini, for the engaging discussion; let’s keep building momentum for 2025 and beyond! 🚀 #Decarbonization #EnergyEfficiency #BACS #EPBD #Implementation
