We are pleased to announce that Ecorys has been awarded a contract by the European Commission (DG GROW) to lead a study on the market potential of offsite construction in addressing housing supply challenges. 🏡 Offsite construction offers enhanced productivity, cost efficiency, and sustainability. However, its market share remains small, and adoption is hindered by various barriers. 🔎 Our study will take a two-phase approach:🔹Phase 1: A stakeholder survey to assess the current state and potential of offsite construction in the EU. This will explore barriers, technological readiness, customer acceptance, and regulatory frameworks.🔹Phase 2: Focus group discussions to develop practical recommendations for overcoming barriers, increasing market acceptance, and accelerating adoption across Member States. 📢 Do you work in construction?
