We are pleased to announce that the 2025 European Council on Computing in Construction (EC3) Summer School will take place in Porto from July 07-11 in coordination with the 2025 EC3 & CIB W78 Conference. The Summer School is led by Karen Blay (Chair, Loughborough University) and Weiwei Chen (Co-chair, University College London), bringing together professors and researchers from top Universities and research centres worldwide to teach construction, engineering, and architecture graduate students (MSc or PhD) the latest and greatest in computing and informatics for the AEC/FM sector (visit here for the list of topics and speakers). The EC3 Board is looking for a new secretary for the board rotation next year. The next joint conference from EC3, CIB W78 and LDAC introduce Human-Data Interaction (HDI) as a Topic. Paper submissions in this area can include (but are not limited to): - Advanced Manufacturing and Prefabrication - Additive Manufacturing - Fabrication-Aware Design Tools and Digital Configurators - Human-Robot Collaboration - Strategic Perspectives and Business Models for Industrialized Construction Optional abstract submission is November 1!
