Across Europe, local leaders are backing geothermal district heating as the best solution for energy affordability ♨️: 🔹 🇫🇷 France – Stéphane Beaudet, Mayor of Évry-Courcouronnes: “Tens of thousands of people—social housing residents, condominium owners, and businesses—will no longer be subject to energy price volatility.” His city’s geothermal heating network serves 85,000 housing units. Denis Larghero, Mayor of Meudon: “Depending on gas prices, heating bills could drop 25–40%.” The city plans to supply 15,000 residents with geothermal heat. 🔹 🇩🇪 Germany – Jan Neusiedl, Mayor of Grünwald: “Geothermal is CO₂-free, reliable in all weather, and barely visible.
