Why Housing matters? I attended the MIPIM on Monday for the #HousingMatters event, co-hosted by Co-Liv. What an inspiring day! Especially, because it is confirmed that we are going into the right direction when we focus on need-oriented housing solutions. The Real Estate sector is heading towards a reshaped, yet innovative, way of thinking. Much more focusing on the market needs and build consequently what the people want on the one hand, but also build smartly by responding to the obvious circular and eco-sustainable requirements. Here are a few highlights I’ll remember: 💡 I discovered the Doughnut Urban Development process, thanks to Home.Earth. 💡 I felt inspired after the fireside chat with the Mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie Hæstorp Andersen. Denmark and the Nordics are so much ahead in many ways, compared to us; 💡 I much better understood what the European CLT (Community Land Trusts) Network stands for; 💡 I was impressed some of the great works developed by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group Ingels Group being shown on stage; 💡 I learnt more about Joivy, a new actor that promises to revolutionise the Housing market. + And much more… When we know that more than 50% of adults report feeling lonely, it is crucial to fulfil their needs by offering them mixed use spaces where they can interact / co-live with a mix of people. In fact, it is one of the main reasons why we have been silent about Evenisto since a couple of months.  We are intensively working on our pivot. Soon you’ll know what we’re up to.  What we already can say is that our focus will be on building modules in order to create mixed community-driven & multi-generational urban villages - containing social - student - senior & care - family housing as well as multi-purpose hubs.  Therefore, we defined our core values to be modular - circular - evolutive - flexible and fully autonomous. We, therefore, design by empathy, because we build things people want.  We are looking forward to communicating officially about the launch of our next adventure 🔥 #modularhousing #mixedcommunity #MIPIM2024
