🌍 Important Update on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) 🌍 The application of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) has been postponed by 12 months, now set to take effect on December 30, 2025, for large and medium-sized companies, and June 30, 2026, for small companies and micro-enterprises. This delay provides additional time for companies to prepare and implement the necessary due diligence systems to ensure their products are deforestation-free and compliant with the new rules. Key points to note: ◾ New Deadlines: December 30, 2025, for large and medium-sized companies; June 30, 2026, for small companies and micro-enterprises. ◾ Due Diligence Requirements: Companies must collect and submit detailed information to prove compliance, including geolocation data. ◾ Penalties for Non-Compliance: Fines, confiscation of non-compliant products, and prohibition from the market or export.
