The ZeroPollution4Water Cluster has announced the public webinar “Drinking Water Systems Modelling and Digitalization” organised by the two sister projects: H2OforAll and SafeCREW. The webinar aims to present approaches of H2OforAll and SafeCREW on the modelling of #DBPs in #drinkingwater supply systems. These approaches aim at enhancing DBP prediction and water quality monitoring. Guest speakers from Amphos 21 will explain some examples of water digitalization that they include in their digital twins. This will demonstrate the application of machine learning and climate change scenarios. Canal Isabel II relies on chloramines to assure drinking water is safe in the Community of Madrid, with a population of 7 million people. Formation of chloramines need to be very well controlled in order to obtain monochloramine and avoid presence of dichloramine specie. Canal Isabel II is using the spectro::lyser and ammo::lyser probe together with con::cube from Badger Meter to keep close and real time control of their disinfection process at one of their DWTPs. Such interesting application was shared among partners of intoDBP EU Project last week!
