Our Proserpol & Hamon teams participated in the Electricity Connect 2024 trade show, held at the Jakarta Convention Center in #Indonesia, from November 20 to 22. This major international event, dedicated to the electrical industry in Southeast Asia, highlighted the challenges and opportunities associated with the #energy transition and achieving carbon neutrality goals. Bringing together more than 500 exhibitors and 15,000 participants, this conference and exhibition served as a key platform to showcase innovative solutions and strengthen collaborations within the energy sector. John Cockerill #Proserpol seized this opportunity to highlight its cutting-edge #water treatment technologies, particularly its E-ChloPure® #electrochlorination solution, while John Cockerill #Hamon presented its #cooling tower solutions at a shared booth.   The event also provided a stage for Nabil Mabrouk, Head of Sales of John Cockerill Proserpol, to speak at a conference where he presented the features and benefits of E-ChloPure®, an innovative solution addressing the growing demand for sustainable water treatment in the energy sector.   This technology generated significant interest among attendees and was featured in an article by Listrik Indonesia, a leading energy-focused magazine in Indonesia. John Cockerill Hamon had the pleasure of hosting representatives from aramco and Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차) at its factory of Arrou (France) a few days ago. This visit provided a wonderful opportunity to expedite our ongoing projects and delve into the technical aspects of our #Hamon® cooling towers. After the successful renewal of the prestigious certification of John Cockerill Hamon by aramco as an approved supplier in December 2023, the journey together is continuing. This achievement ensures our ability to continuously address all requests for quotations #RFQ from any EPC worldwide. Our Group participated in Innovate Vietnam 2024 and the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Vietnam National Innovation Center. With its spirit of #innovation, John Cockerill is committed to contributing to #Vietnam's sustainable growth. In addition to our permanent stand showcasing our innovative solutions to support Vietnam's energy transition, our team gave visitors a virtual reality experience inside an #electrolysis plant for the production of green #hydrogen. Two new large John Cockerill heat recovery boilers will equip a new power plant in #Uzbekistan! John Cockerill Energy has indeed been entrusted by SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. with the design and supply of two large recovery boilers. They will be installed behind #Siemens 9000H-L turbines at the huge 1600 MW greenfield combined cycle power plant (#CCPP) in Surkhandarya owned by #Quvvat. The John Cockerill triple pressure + reheat Heat Recovery Steam Generators will be constructed with four-wide bundles and will comply with the country's regulations, carrying the UZ stamp. Advanced gas-fired power generation technology will be used to maximize energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to address electricity demand in Uzbekistan and support the energy transition in the country. Developed by Stone City Energy, the Surkhandarya power station will be the first of its kind in Uzbekistan to implement the latest generation of H-Class gas turbines and will be producing annually 12 billion kWh of power for almost 3.5 million households. Our Group is proud to contribute to facilitating access to energy, ensuring grid stability and reliable power supply in the country.
