🌍 Revolutionizing the Earth Observation (EO) Data Business Landscape 🌍 We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between LEONSEGS and MESEO project to drive Europe’s Space Sector Forward! 🚀 Each project is developing an innovative solution that promises to significantly enhance the quality and efficiency of EO data management and processing. Together, we want to leverage our strengths, to deliver even more value and impact. LEONSEGS is developing a prototype for a federated environment where EO data providers collaborate through harmonized interfaces, managed by a centralized and automated multi-mission service. This approach will facilitate the delivery of complex EO-based products / services. MESEO project is focused on developing a federated, flexible, and scalable edge-processing system capable of handling large volumes of EO data from multiple missions. 🌍 EO curiosities 🔍 📌Data from satellites is also crucial for water management! By estimating and monitoring evapotranspiration is possible to detect crops suffering from water stress before visible signs appear, while also helping to manage irrigation to prevent overuse of water resources. This is key not only to keep crops healthy but also to make sure that water consumption remains sustainable.
