Yesterday, the Maven team had the opportunity to attend the Open Logistics Foundation #ideation in Dortmund! It was great to work with others in the logistics industry and brainstorm new ideas for a more connected and efficient #SupplyChain. The event showed how powerful it is when people share their knowledge, with each participant bringing their own perspective and experience. During the ideation session, several practical standards for data sharing in logistics were identified as potential initiatives, which hopefully will be further co-developed by the members of the Foundation. Some highlights: - Templates for data-sharing agreements, allowing organisations to kickstart when they are looking into data-sharing, making collaboration easier and more transparent. - A minimal (digital) dataset for transport orders from shipper, adaptable for different sectors (e.g., containers, breakbulk, dry bulk), allowing smoother data sharing across the entire supply chain. - Standardization of data, message formats, and connectors for timeslot booking, ensuring better efficiency and compatibility between logistics partners. At Maven, we believe in turning knowledge into action, and this ideation session was a great example of that. Together with industry leaders, we explored ideas that could contribute to driving digital change in logistics. Our colleagues at Knight Moves - Service Design are organizing a new edition of ARENA next week. ARENA is a free one-night conference for professionals. Twice a year, two inspiring speakers are invited to approach a current challenge where service design can play a role from a different angle. This time the theme is: a 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣ - approach for a just and inclusive transition.   By 2050 the Belgian housing stock has to be climate neutral.
