We are happy to announce that we welcome Leen Devillé to the Nordic Collection family! Leen Devillé, former CEO of Pegase, will join the team as of November as Head of Beyond Borders and the new brand Explore. With her extensive experience in sales and marketing, she will guide the ambitious growth plans for both brands in the right direction. Joris Meermans and Jana Geentjens, founders of Beyond Borders, are officially handing over the daily management of the brand to Leen. Both will remain involved as investors and advisors for the brand. Behind the scenes, we are fully preparing for the launch of our new brand, Explore. Under Explore, we will consolidate the strengths of the current Canada Travel Designers, Wild Alaska, MyHimalaya, Atacama, and VNC Asia Travel into one strong brand starting early 2025.

We are very proud of our team members who recently participated in the bike event: “1000 km voor Kom Op Tegen Kanker” and supported the good cause as our very own Nordic Collection cycling team 🚲 "Over the course of 4 days, we cycled across Flanders for charity. Our 8 cyclists each completed their 125 km and so we are proud to have reached the goal of 1000 km with our team. Despite some rain, it was a fantastic weekend and we’re so glad that we could support this good cause. In total, this event raised € 6.925.500 for cancer research. This marks our sixth acquisition in just six months, underscoring our rapid growth and strategic expansion. With Norske now part of the Nordic Collection, we strengthen our position as the market leader in Hurtigruten sea voyages in the Netherlands. This acquisition not only enhances our offerings but also deepens our expertise in creating unforgettable travel experiences along the Norwegian coast and the polar regions. A special thanks to Norske owners Dick van Kooi and Annemarie van Kooi for their dedication and to Hugo van Drie, Director of Nordic Netherlands, who will take over the daily management to ensure a smooth integration. We have some more big news to share with you: after developing a successful brand in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, Nordic will now also expand to the French market, as well as becoming co-owner of the lodges of our partner Explore The North in Lapland. We are very proud to announce the acquisition of the French company Nord Espaces. Nord Espaces is a travel company specialised in trips to Scandinavia, with more than 30 years of experience on the French market. Alongside this new acquisition, Nordic will also become co-owner of the Explore the North lodges, a partner we have worked with exclusively for many years for our winter trips to Lapland. The unique lodges are an important part of our offering in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Now, with the acquisition of Nord Espaces, we are adding France as our fourth market. Nordic will offer its products on the French market as early as winter '24-'25, with a direct flight from Orly (Paris) to Lapland. Our Melle office moved to Ghent! 🏢 For the past few months, a lot of work has been done on the second floor of The Office III in the Moutstraat in Ghent.
