Celebrating a century of Belgian Aviation ✈️

March 26, 2024 - Today, His Majesty the King visited the Brussels headquarters of SABCA. In light of Orizio Group celebrating the 100 years of Belgian Aviation, we were honored to welcome His Majesty the King at the industrial SABCA site in Brussels for a work visit. On this occasion we discussed the different initiatives taken to stimulate innovation and support sustainable growth in the Belgian aerospace sector. Our staff presented the King with SABCA's cutting-edge technologies and wide range of skills, developed over its 100 years of experience in the design, manufacturing and assembly of integrated metallic and composite aerostructures and actuators for space and aviation applications. #RoyalVisit #Aviation #SABCA #Aerospace

We met Stephane Burton, CEO of the Orizio Group, at the SABCA site, a stone's throw from Brussels Airport. The room is decorated with models of civil and military aircraft and rockets, testimony of Belgium's contribution to aerospace developments over the past decades. In between meetings, Orizio's CEO warmly welcomed us for an informal discussion on the Belgian aerospace business and the future of the Orizio Group. Within the scope of the Belgian Presidency of the EU, we welcomed at our F-16 Center of Excellence, the delegation of Ambassadors to the Political and Security Committee (PSC) of the European Union, including its Chair H.E. Delphine Pronk and our Belgian Ambassador to the PSC H.E. Stéphane Mund. On this occasion we exchanged views on Defense Industry Policies and our contributions as a reliable partner for optimal support of Air Forces. The morning was concluded by a visit of the Sabena Engineering maintenance hangars.🛫 #MRO #defense Orizio Group

During the roll-out ceremony at Fort Worth for the first Belgian F-35, Sabca Limburg signed an implementation agreement for the production of composite wing skins and acces pannels. It secures a technology step-up and production for years to come. Proud to be part of this milestone.
