Under the skillful moderation of Kerstin, an open and safe space was created for thought-provoking discussions, personal vulnerability, and shared learning on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Highlights included: 🌟 Caroline Farberger compelling story of courage, transition, and transformation into an inclusive leader. 🌟 Fabricia Abreu and Greg Renders’ expert insights on integrating DEI into organizational structures. 🌟 Thought-provoking challenges by Grégory Luaba Déome and Clement Ghislain DZOU, sparking deep audience engagement. 🌟 Robert Baker's crucial perspective on engaging men as allies, and how women can support them in overcoming fears. 🌟 Practical examples from Elissa, Geert Maesmans, and Anaida Dibra on addressing unconscious bias and extending allyship beyond one’s immediate environment. 🌟 Helen Tubb (she/her) call for top-down sponsorship to accelerate women's career progress. 🌟 Maria Fernanda Garza Merodio passionate emphasis on educating women to lead the path to leadership. The audience’s proactive participation and willingness to challenge norms demonstrated that DEI conversations resonate deeply. Takeaway: Progress is being made, but there’s much work ahead. Continuous effort is needed to cultivate awareness, embrace inclusiveness, and ensure no group feels left behind. Together, we can shape workplaces that empower and uplift all individuals.
