Taking climate action: Poppies Bakeries signs SBTi commitment 🌍 Today, our CEO Patrick Reekmans proudly signed the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitment letter. With this step, Poppies Bakeries is committing to setting climate targets in line with the Paris Agreement, aiming to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. We know this roadmap is ambitious and will require major changes in our operations and sourcing practices. But we also know that collaboration is key. By working together with stakeholders who share SBTi-validated climate plans, we’re confident we can meet these goals and help shape a more sustainable future. 🌱🤝 This is just the beginning. Our first sustainability milestones are set for 2025, with many more to come!
