PSA Breakbulk is one of the largest steel and general cargo handlers in the Port of Antwerp. On average we handle around 2 million tonnes of seagoing cargo a year for liner and semi-liner trade operators. For industrial groups too, PSA Breakbulk is the 'Port of Call' for breakbulk and general cargo. PSA Breakbulk is part of PSA Antwerp and is a member of the PSA Group, one of the largest port groups in the world with flagship operations in Singapore and Antwerp.

We’re thrilled to share that PSA Breakbulk recently teamed up with PSA Antwerp for a key milestone in #ProjectEmerald. We recently welcomed some truly impressive parts by Gosselin Logistics, ordered by INEOS BELGIUM #ProjectONE, at PSA Breakbulk. Take a look at the C3 Splitter which is no less than 93m long and weighs a mind-boggling 589T! 🤯💪 Along with the wash tower, gas dryers and water tower, all units were also safely discharged on our terminal. In the last two weeks of June, the PSA EuroMed & PSA Americas regions came together to honor one of our beloved annual #CSR traditions, #MovingforCharity. With enthusiasm and determination, we engaged in various physical activities in teams to raise funds for local charities. Our initial goal was to accumulate 150,000 minutes of movement and we more than doubled that target! 🎯 In just two weeks, the two regions worked out tirelessly, accumulating a total of 383,726 minutes. That’s impressive! 💪⏱️ But above all, we made a real difference. Each business unit focused on supporting local charities, assisting children, the elderly, sports centers, canteens and social centers for vulnerable individuals. Our physical efforts translated into much-needed tangible help and support for our communities. 🏃♂️❤️ Thank you to everyone who participated. Both regions truly worked alongside as one team and we had loads of fun while doing it! We recently welcomed the first two parts for Gosselin Logistics, ordered by INEOS BELGIUM #ProjectONE, at PSA Breakbulk. PSA Breakbulk has once again proven itself a frontrunner in ensuring the health and well-being of dock workers. Recently, we took a leading role in enhancing safety measures concerning the loading and unloading of long steel products in collaboration with stakeholders in Middlesbrough, UK. 💪🏗️ A team of PSA Breakbulk colleagues, both from the HSEQ dept as from the operations dept, travelled to Middlesbrough to cooperate with stakeholders British Steel Factory, BIM as ship’s agent, and various stevedoring companies from the port of Middlesbrough (AV Dawson) and from the port of Immingham on reducing the risks of accidents at work. The aim was to implement measures to prevent slips, trips and falls during the stowing of steel, a process historically fraught with safety challenges for port workers. 👷♀️👷♂️ Through constructive dialogue and a shared commitment to leading safety efforts in our industry, all parties involved succeeded in reaching agreements that significantly enhance safety standards. British Steel Factory, a producer of steel, played a pivotal role in these discussions, with their utmost priority being the safety of all dock workers. 🦺🤝 The fact that we dispatched a team of experts on-site underscores safety as a top priority for us.
