In March 2024, the CCRI Project ROBIN project published a study on regional strategies driving the circular bioeconomy across Europe. 📊 The study, based on 61 governance models, revealed that regional commitments to #bioeconomy are growing but managing conflicting #sustainability goals remains a challenge. 🌿⚖️ Policymakers, have a look, as the paper provides an overview of successful governance models! ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dFZ7dqjk #CCRIEurope

Flashback to our Irish Beta Testing Validation Workshop.🌍🔙 On Tuesday the 15th of October, the Southern Regional Assembly and Munster Technological University celebrated Bioeconomy Ireland Week 2024 in Assembly House in Waterford, Ireland with this ROBIN event! Some highlights: 🌍 Ajay Kumar Sutrakar from the Biomethane Carbon and Community Project and manager of the recently established Biomethane Development Office introduced us to the potential for biomethane production in Ireland. 🌍 Elizabeth Gavin , NuaFund founder, walked us through some of the success stories of bioeconomy projects. 🌍 Joanna O'Riordan from the Institute of Public Administration Ireland presented the results of research carried out alongside colleagues into comparative governance of the circular economy and bioeconomy in selected European countries, including Ireland. ROBIN project was presented along with the tools developed, Circular Bioeconomy Model Canvas and the Policy Monitoring System. Participants had an opportunity to complete a questionnaire on various elements of each of the tools and provide #feedback. 📍V Circular Economy talks: The industry sector towards circularity 📍 An online event organised by Funseam- Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability with the participation of Fundación Cotec para la Innovación. 🌿 ROBIN project was included in a presentation delivered by our valuable partner CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia) and presented the project as a key to support the transition from fossil-based linear economies to circular bio-based economies. 🌿The panel discussion included contributions from various organisations involved in innovative business initiatives, such as TECNALIA Research & Innovation, and Repsol. 🌿The event highlighted the significance of developing basic competencies in #circular design among companies.
